FLUSH - TAKING CHANCES (FEAT. AVA GOLD)

Ok it's time to amp things up a bit, and this disco dance floor heater "Taking Chances" from Flush is exactly the kind of upbeat jam I know you were looking for. The groovy guitar, vocal ooh's and Ava Gold's lush vocals come together on top of the spirited drumming resulting in sun soaked anthem perfect for the looming weekend. I don't have a whole lot of info on Flush at the moment, but if they keep putting out killer disco gems like this I believe we'll be talking about them much more. JULIA KNIGHT - GHOST OF YOU

This debut single from Nashville's Julia Knight is sweet as candy. The dreamlike cascading synths in the beginning become a cloud like cushion supporting Julia's endearingly vulnerable vocals. The chorus hits and I instantly conjure up music video-esque imagery of a couple running along the beach, driving top down along the coast, and running through a field with sparklers ha ha catch my drift? Yeah...yeah I know I'm cheesy, but a record like this just totally hits the heart strings. The single hits Spotify tomorrow Sept. 30.

IMAD ROYAL - BAD 4 U (SWEATER BEATS REMIX)

I supremely loved Imad Royal's endearing original "Bad 4 U" check out our review here. When I saw another BB stand out Sweater Beats had taken to rework the original I figured it was going to be bomb. No surprises here Sweater Beats has updated the original for dance floors and added a fun spin of his own. The drop is lead by an eclectic vocal chop that bends and hops putting a smirk across your face. You can purchase this remix on iTunes here.

[PREMIERE] HALSEY - NEW AMERICANA (YE. FLIP)

It's almost the weekend y'all, and I am so ready to do nothing actually! Yep ... gonna stay home and hang out with my doggo and find a TV series to binge on. It will also give me some time to catch up on listening to all the new music I've been putting aside during this hectic week.  One thing I can't sleep on, however, is this new flip from Syracuse, NY producer Ye. We are lucky enough to premiere his delicious remix of "New Americana" by Halsey, and I feel like it's going to set a rad tone for the rest of the day. Layered with dark synthey melodies and future bass beats, this 19 year old producer creates a bouncy trap hybrid between vibing out and raging!  Ye. is just getting started, and I can't wait to see whats to come. 

BLU J - IN 2 U

I kinda feel like BLU J are my besties even tho we've never done the hangs. Pretty sure we have covered every release on BB, and lately their name keeps coming up among industry peers and I always smile and think, yea I've supported them for a minute. BLU J are back this week with their delightful flip of Ariana Grande's "Into You" for some super sexy grooves that are perfect for chill evening vibes. LINCOLN JESSER - BETWEEN THESE LINES FEAT. QUIÑ

Lincoln Jesser returns with another vibe-y deep house cut that's showing off his tropical side. "Between These Lines" is laid back tune that meanders its way forward with ease as the synth stabs lead us into fun drop with a vocal type chop/synth (I can't tell the difference sometimes now-a-days) that adds the exclamation point to the beautiful top line provided by Quiñ. We finally have an announced date of his Casa Mirage EP due November 18. No doubt this single will be included, and as we find out more from the track listing you will be the first to know. GRAMATIK - NATIVE SON PREQUEL FEAT. LEO NAPIER (MYRNE REMIX)

Holy cow Myrne has absolutely murdered this remix of Gramatik's "Native Son Prequel." This track has just about everything you could ask for packed together and presented with a bow. A super funky piano riff starting it off, zany eclectic sounds, an impressive albeit hyperactive rhythm section, plenty of vocal chops and of course a crazy synth solo at the end. If you're in to electro funk like me then this track is simply mind blowing. The singapore bred producer has already put out some ridiculous tracks: peep his collab with SteLouse "Call Me" and his killer remix of Hoodboi's single "Closer ft. ASTR" just for starters, and definitely start keeping tabs on this guy, You won't regret it. You can download this amazing remix on your preferred digital retailer here.

NERVO - ANYWHERE YOU GO (FEAT. TIMMY TRUMPET)

It's been a while since the NERVO twins have put out any music, and judging by the sound of their new single "Anywhere You Go" I can see why. Foregoing the progressive roots that made their start, the girls have chilled it down instead going for a much vibe-i-er, pop friendly tune. The record also prominently features trumpet courtesy of Timmy Trumpet resulting in an smooth house tune that's 100% ready for the electronic community to re-work and re-create.
