PHIL GOOD - GROWING UP

MusicMike DooseComment

Phil Good is back and he is absolutely philling it with this second release! (See what I did there?) In all seriousness though, the Los Angeles singer, songwriter, producer and multi-instrumentalist came out of the gates incredibly strong with debut single “Sleeping In” which was a frickin’ earworm if I’ve ever heard one. The guy can write hooks! But he’s got the lyrical prowess and production chops to go along with it, which is certainly rare these days. With top-notch future pop production, relatable lyrics, and a killer synth lead, “Growing Up” is a deeper and darker follow up which shows a more emotional side to the emerging artist. He’s in good company too with fellow Working Group Management clients like Cheat Codes, Billie Eilish, and CADE (among others). I for one am extremely eager to hear more of what’s in store for Phil Good.

FAREOH - ILLEGAL (FEAT. KATELYN TARVER)

Fareoh's back and in a big way! Not that he was ever gone. We've been big supporters of the NY producer for some time now. His big, inspiring melodic productions are the kind of tracks you blast in the car, but could definitely still get down to on the dance floor. This latest banger "Illegal" with Katelyn Tarver is pure pop-electro pleasure. Playful yet sophisticated production, catchy songwriting, and just a great overall positive vibe. You might even catch me shamelessly fist bumping to this one driving down the 405. Listen above and grab it for yourself HERE.

BIG GIGANTIC - ALL OF ME (FEAT. ROZES & LOGIC)

Music, Original MixEricComment

Holy mother of collabo's batman! This is a jam right here. A friend recently put Logic's new LP 'Bobby Tarantino' on my radar, and I had a great time listening through. He's got some really dope rhymes, so when I saw him grouping up with breakout vocalist Rozes and the horny duo Big Gigantic, I knew this one was going to be big! This track is a perfect electronic pop & hip-hop crossover. The chorus showcases the horns enveloped by bright saw synths, the occasional fluttering arp and deep sub. The rhythm mostly stays out of the way making room for the infectious vocals, but I do enjoy the splashy hi-hat work. Big Gigantic also just announced a slew of new tour dates you can check out by heading to the SoundCloud link above. You can also nab this on iTunes here and listen on Spotify here.
