Good morning Friday! The weekend is here, and I am up way too early. Music I am listening to this morning is turned down a few notches due to the fact that the gardeners came early and the dogs go bananas when they are outside.....so sleeping is not an option. The Ruby Suns are back with a new album in January, but things are a bit different this time. Front-man Ryan McPhun has been through some shit this past year, breaking up with long term girlfriend and bandmate and then moving from New Zealand to Norway! Both of these things seem to have had a profound effect on The Ruby Suns sound - and we are now hearing a more shiny-electro feel rather than the tropical sound we are used to. The first single - "Kingfisher Calls Me" is a sign of more great things to come! The new record is called Christopher - look for it in January 28 (UK/EU) and January 29 (US) 2013!
