I think the piano is under rated these days! Remember how piano rock was so cool, even as late as the 90's! Ben Folds - come on, he is great and we all loved him....or Coldplay! So this guy, Tom Odell, writes some pretty incredible songs and his instrument of choice is the piano! AMAZING! At first listen, the chills ran up and down my body..... so that's something pretty special. This London UK native is a sweet mixture between Jeff Buckley and Chris Martin (without all the falsetto), and count me in, it's just beautiful! Sometimes shedding the synths and dance beats that we love so much about pop, and getting down to basics, is just what the doctor ordered!
