I am back in LA today - but man.....what a great weekend I had in San Francisco! I was able to catch this band at Popscene on Thursday night and they were awesome! Atlas Genius are from Adelaide, Australia and are dominating this new music industry. They have signed with Warner Bros. Records, which released its debut EP, Through The Glass, on June 12. The three-song collection includes Atlas Genius' breakout hit "Trojans," which had sold more than 45,000 downloads in the U.S. alone before the band was even signed. The song now sits at #17 and rising on the BDS Alternative Radio charts with all kinds of momentum. Atlas Geinus' full-length debut, which is slated for release in early 2013.
Their new video for "Symptions" is great! Looks like they are going to be playing with LA darlings Silversun Pickups in September......I will be checking out one of those dates for sure!
