Well, this is one of my most anticipated bands to see this year. I tried to get them on my SXSW showcase, but sometimes you can't have it all..... So, I'm still waiting for my live show because I have a feeling it's going to be top notch! The 1975 come from Manchester UK, they are super hot., they will be on tour in the states this June with The Neighbourhood on the east coast, and we have a San Francisco date @ Popscene in July! Though The 1975 formed as a punk band whilst still at school, there’s no straitjacket to their current sound, which veers between brooding art rock, crisp electronica, dancefloor R&B, helium hip-hop, shimmering balladry and 80s gloss pop.
