I had the pleasure of seeing Tropics twice at SXSW because they played the Beautiful Buzzz showcase twice, kicking off the party as the first band to play, (which was more like a warm-up for them) and it was also their first US show ever, and then back again on the last night in the evening to play to a rowdy crowd - and they were amazing both times!
