When an amazing person and friend - who manages some pretty great bands - says he has something for me to hear, yea... I jump! Antwerp is an indie electronic artist from London who I am now a HUGE fan! This is great dance music with a tiny bit of "eastern" flavor. Antwerp's new EP is stacked with one killer track after another; I'm all about "Blue Marble" - it's been on repeat all weekend! After listening to the new Myriad Shapes EP, I went back and listened to previous releases and he has a track called "Erin" - and I'm good with any song that shares my name. But seriously, this is really smart electronic music, there is depth and beauty swirled together with dance floor beats. After listening I feel like I have just been taken on a journey through a strange and beautiful land, or that I am seeing London through his eyes. This is good shit!
