It is my pleasure to introduce a new artist to the site, Harry Was Here. Harry creates music somewhere between bedroom pop and pop punk, and first caught our attention with his song “&” (which also has a great acoustic version). His writing is emotive and his productions are full of lush guitars and ambient sounds, making for a fully immersive listen. “Pet Giraffe” is no different, “lyrically inspired by Bob Dylan, the cryptic messaging comes from a deep place of sadness that always seems to be lurking…It's that feeling that you are the weight bringing down the people around you” according to Harry.
