Martin Garrix

I'm sure we'll all be talking about our SXSW party this year for the next few weeks, because I mean, it was pretty fuckin' epic! Joining the BB fam at Get Buzzzed was yung Medasin, a delicious rising producer who we are getting all emotional over these days. With all the industry buzz behind him, Medasin is making moves and slaying sets, and he crushed his time on my SXSW stage. With a packed stage of Moving Castle artists and an overflowing venue, Medasin dropped one siiick track after another to a rowdy crowd ... trap arms for days! His sexy soulful vibe mixed with all the future feels is everything ... we pretty much swoon over Medasin. His new remix of "Scared To Be Lonely ft. Dua Lipa" by Martin Garrix is tite - I suggest getting into this immediately!

I've got a fun one for you right here from mashup king Kap Slap. Now normally we don't usually post mashups, but this combo of tunes really tickled my fancy. Let's run down the list of tunes featured in this one: "Heathens" from Twenty One Pilots, Skrillex and Rick Ross' "Purple Lamborghini", Martin Garrix's and Bebe Rexha's "In The Name Of Love", Ookay's "Thief", TroyBoi and GrandTheft's "Sneaky", and last but certainly not least Jaykode and Party Theive's epic trap tune "Origin". Phew! lot to go through oh and did I mention that the tune has a ridiculously cool mashup music video as well? Go peep that over on proximity here. You can also nab this as a free download here.

We've got a treat for you right here! I've you been paying any attention lately then you've definitely heard Martin Garrix's chart topping original, but today we're excited to bring you a fantastic re-envisioning courtesy of SoCal's Justin Caruso. Balancing a full college course load, producing tracks and finishing up a tour with 3lau, Justin has still managed to epicly flip Martin's ballad in a whole new direction. He's picked up the pace for the mix and fills it out with a bobbing dance chorus led by a spikey grooving bass line surrounded by airy arps, vocal warps, and energetic hi hats. Adding to his growing catalogue of remixes, this new Jack Ü inspired sound from Justin tones it back, yet still maintains the level of hype that we've come to expect from this camp. Tune in to this up-and-comer, we know there's lots more on the way. You can download this mix for free here.

I'm feeling rather mainstream EDM today - it happens from time to time and I just can't get enough of the big room beats with soaring vocals; songs made for festivals where I can fire spin and shit (not really). So when my homies The Him sent their new remix of "In The Name Of Love ft. Bebe Rexha" by Martin Garrix thru today, I thought it was the perfect combo of the underground cool that we like to support (The Him) with mainstream EDM (Martin Garrix). This one is going to make you shake that booty fo-sho! I have more rather exciting stuff coming from The Him next week ... you'll have to wait a few more days for the goods!  Until then, our show with The Him + Lost Kings in San Francisco on NOV 26 at Ruby Skye is coming up, if you're in the bay area you should come on out yo! Grab tickets ... it's time to rage!

LIONE has risen from relative obscurity to prominence so quickly that Martin Garrix's new label STMPD RCRDS has taken notice and chosen him to be their first solo act signee. It's easy to see why with amazing tunes like his "Where Are U Now" and "Bodyache" remixes that have drawn all sorts of comparisons to Porter Robinson (not too shabby). It's been a minute since a new release, but I'm super excited to share his latest and first original "Leave This Place". What's not to like about this tune? Luscious synths, bright and endearing melodies, infectious arps and beautiful vocals, the record has an endearing quality to it that invokes a smile at every snare. With a live show, a guest mix on Garrix's Beats 1 radio show and his first original now under his belt, it's clear we have a some major movement here. Beautiful Buzzz has been a supporter from the beginning, and it's awesome to see things moving in the right direction so quickly. You can get this as a free download from STMPD RCRDS here.
