OFELIA K - KILLING ME

Pretty sure I have just decided Ofelia K is my new girl crush ... all her tracks are the bee's knees I can't stop with her! She just gets me. Maybe it's because I mostly post tracks from producers who are men, that when I get a pop song from the female perspective it just clicks. It's like she writes songs for me - her vibe and overall attitude ... she just gets me. Her new track "Killing Me" is out tomorrow via South By Sea Music, and it's pop perfection. You rock Ofelia K!   

OFELIA K - I LOVE MY LAWYER

I mean - who doesn't love their lawyer actually? I totally love mine - but maybe not as much as Ofelia K loves hers considering she would marry him. My lawyer is babe-a-licious tho ... and I try to tell him that every day, but definitely not trying to marry him or anything close to that. Does it help that he's dreamy and it makes it easier to listen to the lawyer talk, oh yea you bet! When we feature pop tracks like this, we try to focus on the next generation of brilliant artist thinking outside the box, and Ofelia K is a repeat offender on that list. Her latest original "I Love My Lawyer" has put a smile on my face, and now I think I'll say hi to my "angel in a black suit" now! Available everywhere June 24th, 2016 via South By Sea Music    

KASKADE & FELIX CARTAL - FAKIN IT FT. OFELIA K (HOTEL GARUDA REMIX)

Boom! One day early release on this one for our dudes Hotel Garuda! I'm psyched for this because I'm pretty sure the original was first up on Soundcloud as a preview only, so I didn't have a chance to post it even tho I loved the track. Of course Hotel Garuda crushed this remix of "Fakin It ft. Ofelia K" by Kaskade & Felix Cartal, they crush all things. This one is bring all the warm summertime feels .... love it!   Can't wait to hear this in the club!

OFELIA K - BAD BOYS

Ofelia K has just the most mesmerizing, mellifluous, and soothing voice. I could insert any number of flattering adjectives, but it's true! She's given us an endearing tune with "Bad Boys" light guitar and rhythm fill out the instrumental behind her well constructed lyricism explaining her constant dilemma with all these bad boys luring her close and holding her underwater. The record is a slow build eventually ramping up to be filled out with numerous background vocal parts and synth work before slowing back down again for the ending. This is a fantastic follow up to her incredible 'Plastic Flowers' EP and single "Cinco." 

OFELIA K - CINCO

I am 100% in a indie electro pop mood today, so I'm gonna be talking about a few amazing ladies that dropped some pretty great tracks this past week!  First up is Los Angeles songstress Ofelia K and her electrifying new single "Cinco" that is pretty much the coolest thing you're gonna hear today!  Her style of mixing gentle vocals among big sounding melodies is fabulous -- the build in this track is something else!  Loving it! We've seen some pretty amazing things come from Ofelia K .... can't wait to see what's next!   

THE BUZZZ BOX - NOVEMBER 23

All sorts of emotions the past few weeks .... being a promoter and a lover of live music my whole life, what happened in Paris on NOV 13 hits very close to home. This week's Buzzz Box is presented in memory of the 130 people murdered, their friends and family, and the hope that tragic events like these do not continue!

So it's not always about bootay shakin future beats and summertime disco vibes at Beautiful Buzzz HQ - we also have a softer side, and today we are feeling this new track "White T-Shirt" by Ofelia K.  She is no stranger to the dance world, having been the featured vocalist on a Felix Cartal track a few years back!  Now we have her back with this beautiful pop gem that is both stripped down and luminous -- a breath of fresh air!  Ofelia K will be releasing her solo EP later this year, and I have a feeling it will be nothing less than spatacular!
