Channeling hypnotic, gangter-esque frequencies, Rain Main (formerly of Krewella) unveils “Mirage” featuring BLI. A unique take on hip-hop and rap, “Mirage” is a collage of echoing soundscapes that illuminate animated, bold rhymes. Rich, looming melodies drip into subtle spaces of vibrancy and zest. With this distinguished unveiling, Rain Man proves that his dexterity extends beyond the horizons of Krewella. Personifying the sounds of a well rolled blunt, “Mirage” is a phat beat with moving parts made of swagger and kick. Tune in.
Who's having fun today? I know we are having a blast in the BB office because we're psyched to release our next installment in the Buzzzmix Series. Every time I talk about a New York producer, I have this overwhelming desire to be back in that big beautiful city with my east coast fam whom I so rarely get to see. I miss New York, even more than I miss LA, and this new track is giving me all kinds of feels this morning. Progressive house producer Dave Edwards has just delivered a fantastic new remix of "Bring Back The Summer" by Rain Man for our next premiere which he smothers with his sunshiny pop groove. With slight hints of tropical house vibes, this track is perfect for all the summertime fun. Whether you are poolside under palm trees in LA or on rooftops in New York with Dave Edwards, this is one jam that can't be missed. Grab a free download HERE!
Ah yes touched down in SF a couple hours ago. VVVV excited for our sold out show with Goldroom tonight! In the mean time I wanted to throw some more love to our homie Instrum who's ventured into future bass land with his new remix of Rain Man's "Bring Back the Summer featuring Oly. My favorite part of this track surprisingly starts 4 minutes in. Instrum does his best Chet Porter impression on the outro and it's killer. Whimsical with bells, horns and percussion that just puts a smile on my face. You can also vote for this track here to help Instrum get released on Dim Mak.
