This latest tune from Tye James ( ½ of KNGDAVD check out their tune "Poppies" if you haven't heard it yet) "Lies" is a deeply personal tune that definitely showcases his vocal prowess. The tremolo guitar and drum sticks comprise the simplistically somber instrumental leaving plenty of room for Tye to make his mark. His piercing full voice easily slides up into falsetto and back down for his vocal improvisations. The lyrics talk about the heady contradictions that have forced him to confront reconciling his spiritual beliefs with the true desires of his heart. A struggle that all too many deal with daily.
