PEGBOARD NERDS & NGHTMRE - SUPERSTAR FT. KREWELLA (UNLIKE PLUTO REMIX)

Some mornings it's just easy to roll out of bed and have the perfect pick me up jam to enjoy with that first cup of coffee - and that totally just happened with this new Unlike Pluto remix of "Superstar ft. Krewella" by Pegboard Nerds & NGHTMRE. This Los Angeles producer never seems to let us down with his big sound and bouncy melodies, and he crushes this one with his boisterous dance flavor. Have a good morning! 

UNLIKE PLUTO - FOUND YOU (FEAT. MICHELLE BUZZ)

Ah yess add another jam to Unlike Pluto's quickly growing catalogue of genre expanding, cinematic and generally mind blowing dance music. The hashtag from Monstercat states that this is Trap, but I have to say that's hardly the case. Yes...it does have the deep hitting sub and hip-hop oriented drumming, but this record for me really evolves into more of a trap pop or future bass kind of vibe courtesy of the verses. The beginning is somber with strings, pads and piano as Michelle Buzz's (we like her last name ha ha) tremendous vocals flow on top of the record with finesse. Michelle, by the way, is making quite a name for herself now with a couple of tremendous releases first on Prince Fox's "Oxygen," and now this. We'll be looking for singles coming from that camp soon. As we dive into the chorus, the vocal chop leads the way as hornlike synths and arps cascade around the bombastic sub. It's going be a busy day - so many new releases to sort through! Sometimes I can get lost in it all. Friday's like today can be overwhelming for a small indie blog like BB, so I just try to focus in on the best of what the day has to offer! Speaking of the best - our boy Unlike Pluto is back with a scorching new dance track "Searching for You ft. Karra & Eric Zayne" that's got me dancing all over the office. The vocals are bananas good, mix that in with big beats and synthy rhythms we've got one hell of a club hit! Unlike Pluto is crushing 2016! Get into this one kids!    

LOST KINGS - YOU FT. KATELYN TARVER (UNLIKE PLUTO REMIX)

I spent 3 days dealing with Coachella FOMO. Even though I personally dislike going to festivals, I still feel that green eyed monster deep inside when I see all the people I know out in the desert ... and Flume .... So I just watched a ton of old 80's movies, ate a whole pack of Oreo Double Stuffed cookies, and took naps! Many many naps! Now here we are after weekend one, and I get to do it all over again this weekend - wish I could be somewhere I really don't want to be but FOMO! One thing I definitely can't sleep on is this Unlike Pluto remix of "You ft. Katelyn Tarver" by Lost Kings! In just a few short weeks I'll be seeing all these Los Angeles legends playing songs for me to shake my but - I can't wait! This remix has deep pulsating beats over an addictive groove that I am loving! This one is the first of 5 remixes coming out via Spinnin' Records - the EP drops April 25!

One of our favorite producers just dropped a huge track and we're super psyched over this one! Unlike Pluto has been steadily releasing top notch music all year which we have been adamantly supporting, and just a few weeks back he was a featured artist in our Buzzzmix Vol. 23 - so I guess you can say we have a little crush on this LA music maker! Once you listen to this new original "Waiting For You ft. Joanna Jones" you'll probably fangirl out as well - it's a brilliant mix of electro house feels under suttle glitchy future drops and straight dance floor beats! Delicious!

[PREMIERE] DIPLO & SLEEPY TOM - BE RIGHT THERE (UNLIKE PLUTO REMIX)

Lately I've been pretty excited about this Los Angeles producer! I had a friend send me one of his tracks a few months back and I've been kind of gaga over Unlike Pluto ever since. The kid has skills! Today I get to premiere his latest remix of "Be Right There" by Diplo & Sleepy Tom and I gotta say I am not mad about it! Unlike Pluto perfectly mixes a disco house vibe with future feels finding a sweet spot between the two sounds -- it's so delicious! I'm thinking we are going to see some big moves from Unlike Pluto this year, and I can't wait for what's next! Until then, this one will be a repeat all week long!  

JASON DERULO - WANT TO WANT ME (UNLIKE PLUTO REMIX)

So around this time every year, I tend to do much more night blogging.  My days are slammed, and it's all because of this little big party thing I host at SXSW!  My life is totally taken over with those 4 letters .... so I promise I will do my best to keep up with all the BB things!  Like this - I die! A few weeks back I was chatting with an agent I regularly work with, and he was wanting me to book a show with Unlike Pluto!  I don't always know about every single artist in the world (how can anyone), and I didn't know much about this Atlanta producer at first mention. However, it took me about 2.5 seconds to 100% LOVE what I was hearing!  Today Unlike Pluto dropped a killer remix of "Want To Want Me" by Jason Derulo that is top notch indie dance awesomeness! Bringing the heat to the dance floor with future feels drops and Derulo's soulful vocals, Unlike Pluto murdered this one!  You need this in your life!
