NYC-based singer, songwriter & producer Billy-On enlists rapper Jay Boogie to weave together “Ghost Limb”, an atmospheric genre bender that defies my attention deficit and just keeps me coming back for more.

THEY - TRUTH BE TOLD (YE. REMIX)

Anything THEY-realted, remix or otherwise, is a winner for me. When you let ye. at the track then you have something special in my book. The talented young producer has been making his prowess known over the last year or so and with his recent remix of Truth Be Told that momentum doesn't seem to be going anywhere. A producer that can so prodigiously drop solid radio track remixes is always something I'm on the lookout for. CAUTIOUS CLAY - JOSHUA TREE

It’s truly difficult to understate the talent of Cautious Clay, the Brooklyn based singer, songwriter and producer responsible for a recent spate of emotionally gripping tracks. Last month’s “Cold War” has turned a lot of heads for good reason, and his most recent release “Joshua Tree” will be no different. Cautious Clay brings an energy to his delivery that captures the listener and leaves you with a sense of pure emotional engagement on the part of the artist. “Joshua Tree” provides a poignant medium that exposes the balancing act we struggle with everyday between personal ambition and commitment to the ones we love.

Cautious Clay possesses a truly outstanding and diverse set of musical skills and will be a force to be reckoned with. The groundswell around him will definitely grow rapidly over the coming months. Check out the rest of his work here, you won’t be disappointed!

RUSTY HOOK - RELIEF (FT. TRUITT)

For the unawares, Rusty Hook, aside from his contribution to the Slow Hours project, has been lurking around SoundCloud racking up millions of plays and drawing off the oldest heads on the platform. He has been building his cv and biding his time, but now he is ready to release his first original project, Romance is Dead, Good Riddance. The first single of the compilation, ‘Relief’, features smooth and colorful vocals from brother-sister duo Truitt. Rusty Hook’s production on the track blends R&B with electronic, leaving a lasting impression. Combined with the sultry lyrical delivery of Truitt, the track truly shines.

OLIVER TREE & WHETHAN - ENEMY

Orbiting each other like a binary star system on a collision course with greatness, Oliver Tree & Whethan continue their path towards world domination with "Enemy". Whethan lays down an ambling backdrop to to Olive Tree's signature cadence that will have you pullin' back that sunroof on a sunny day lovin' life. Both artists are very much on the come up right now; Whethan with a tour coming to a city near you and Oliver Tree redefining the fashion landscape as I type this out. LOUIS THE CHILD - LOVE IS ALIVE (CHET PORTER REMIX)

For a while now, Chet Porter has been a beacon of feel good sound; bridging the gap between the soundcloud community and indie pop. Never lacking in sense of humor, he nonetheless exudes a reticence that reflects in the tranquil nature of his music. In his recent remix of Louis The Child’s youth anthem “Love Is Alive”, Chet Porter maintains a delicate approach but steps outside his normal comfort zone to drop a driving, pulsing iteration of a track you already know and love. The combination of melodic vocal chops and a more intense bassline than we are used to seeing with him all combine to deliver something new, and just in time for his first headlining tour this fall. This guy has already been some of the strongest support on some of the best shows over the past few years, grabbing that headlining spot was an inevitability, if not long overdue. [PREMIERE] NO WYLD x MEMBA - OFF FOR THE NIGHT

Some of the best tracks pull you in and take you for a ride, “Off For The Night” is no exception and conjures a long walk through the streets of Brooklyn at night contemplating how to get your shit together, with a precipitous series of revelations crashing over you as the journey progresses. NY Producer duo MEMBA and Auckland, New Zealand transplants No Wyld masterfully blend genres to deliver a measured, but brooding, original that channels feelings of frustration we all feel at one point or another. The track’s lyrics insinuate a need for escape, a common theme in music but one that when done right strikes a chord in anyone listening. RAC - THE BEAUTIFUL GAME (FT. ST. LUCIA)

Some of my most vivid memories of in college, not to mention formative bonding experiences with lifelong friends, occurred with an RAC remix in the background. Industrious doesn’t even begin to describe the volume of amazing work he has graced our ears with over his long, yet seemingly ageless, career. Throw St. Lucia into the mix and you have a recipe for greatness anytime, every time. The two recently combined forces again to bring “The Beautiful Game” into existence for our listening pleasure, and needless to say they deliver. Like a lot of their previous work, the track pulls me into a state of contemplation over the furious contradictions that come with loving someone. The juxtaposition between melodic indie pop beats and lyrics outlining the intoxicating frustrations of infatuation get me every time. TREY SONGZ - NOBODY ELSE BUT YOU (MOZADO REMIX)

I've always had a soft spot for Trey Songz, but most days in the form of a guilty pleasure and in the privacy of a pair of earbuds. Boston producer Mozado takes Trey Songz' new ballad "Nobody Else But You" in a way that keeps the emotion but retools the track for a more social environment.
