Los Angeles has become the breeding ground for the "it" producers - the scene down there is such fire ... it's like a future bass candy land! I'm all about it - it is after all my hometown, and I get to bring all that deliciousness up to the bay without dealing with LA elements ... like traffic! This fantastic duo right here has been placed on our radar lately, and ARMNHMR have delivered a siiick remix of "Inside Out" by The Chainsmokers. Feels, feels and more feels! CAVALIER - STARING AT THE SUNSET (FEAT. EZRA)

Ohh all of the chills for this new Cavalier record "Staring At the Sunset (feat. EZRA)." We had the pleasure of hosting Cavalier at our SXSW showcase and had the greatest of times with this young up and coming producer. Just flow into this record with lots of eclectic world sounds. Harp + Pan Flute + Jazzy Piano + Synthy wobbles = world bass goodness. Ha ha see what I did there? The sub bass just grooves and puts you into a state of trance encapsulated by all the honey-esque melodic pampering wrapped around it. Plus you gotta love the free DL yummy goodness here.

MONOPOL - HAUNTING

Let us introduce you to Monopol the new solo project for G-Eazy producer Christoph Andersson. Tossing in the towel for hip hop, Chris has switched to electro-pop with ease. If you haven't heard his first release "Somebody That I'll Never Be," you should definitely check that one out. "Haunting" is an energetic record with guitars, bell like synths and groovy synth bass that fluidly sweeps us along. Monopol's vocal hooks keep us high and light despite the heavier lyricism. "Haunting" comes with the release of his self titled EP with some other really great tracks as well (available on iTunes here). Be on the lookout for many more good things to come from this camp!

Normally I would not touch a cover of Flume, especially this song because it's so perfect -- how could anyone else possibly bring something new to the table. But ..... I should have known that the guy to pull it off would be Crywolf! This is kind of amazing and I'm swooning! Crywolf has that effect over me all the time - his angelic voice makes me swoon like a little girl .... oh boys! His cover of "Never Be Like You" is future electro pop perfection, and the best part is that you can grab a free download HERE!

Los Angeles electro-pop duo Ardency have delivered a fantastic mix for our next installment in the Buzzzmix series. They are all shiny and new, just starting to open their eyes and stretch their wings into this big scary world ... and with this mix they are telling us everything is gonna be just fine! [PREMIERE] TRACE - HONEY (MAHALO REMIX)

Well here's a combination that makes us at BB happy to hear! We've been avid supporters of Mahalo and his spicy nu-disco vibes, and we've quickly jumped on the bandwagon of Trace with her heavenly voiced emotional records. With a combo like this you can't lose! Mahalo has taken the slow but beautiful "Honey" and amped it up for the dance floors, putting an almost trancelike rework to the tune. We hear rumors of lots more "Honey" remixes on the way, but for now we can enjoy this new rendition. Mahalo has also offered us a limited free download so snag that here!
