NAWAS - WRONG

NAWAS is new, so new that this is only their second official release, but if I am any judge of talent I can already tell that they are going to be big. "Wrong" has a raw energy to it that both stimulates and intrigues. It pushes you off a cliff, but only so that you can spread wings and fly. "Wrong" displays a hidden beauty behind the grit showcased in the harmonies and the downright sexy guitar breakdown about 3 minutes in. The vocal falsetto styling is incredibly interesting and altogether unique, and meshes perfectly with the distorted bass synth and dreamlike bells elevating the record to emotional heights. Get ready to hop on the bandwagon because NAWAS is rising fast.

SG LEWIS - HOLDING BACK FT. GALLANT

I had the awesome pleasure of hanging out backstage watching SG Lewis go off a few weeks ago when he was in LA opening for Pete Tong (S/O to Eric Sharp, more about his new single later). When I saw this hit my inbox with a little Gallant feature I knew it was going up on BB. My expectations were high given this collaboration, but it totally lived up to the hype. SG in typical fashion keeps it lively, while still somehow chill af. Gallant with his falsetto and numerous harmonies fits perfectly on top of the smooth piano chords, melodic arps and splashes of funky guitar. The soul is strong with this one, I'm getting chills just thinking about the studio sesh that brought this to life. You can purchase the single on iTunes here. 

A-TRAK - PARALLEL LINES FT. PHANTOGRAM (MSTRKRFT REMIX)

No one on this track needs any introduction - and even tho BB is all about supporting the new up-and-coming artist, from time to time we like to show the masters the respect they deserve. MSTRKRFT is kinda mind blowing, and I will do a big ol' humble brag riiight now and say that they played their first live show ever at my SXSW event this year! Makes me smile everytime I get to say that! They have crushed this remix of "Parallel Lines ft. Phantogram" by A-Trak with all that delicious MSTRKRFT flavor .... so so good! BRASSTRACKS - TELLING THE TRUTH FT. LIDO & FATHERDUDE

Woah! This is everything! I want to start off by saying that FatherDude has 100% moved to the top of my most favorite thing in 2016 list. If you don't know about all that, it's time! But I mean, this combination in general is kinda bananas! Brasstracks + Lido + FatherDude .... really? Doe's anyone else get serious goosebumps of excitement just from seeing this? Wait till you hear it!  "Telling The Truth" is a funky soulful electro-pop dance gem which I'll be playing non-stop all week long! All the feels here y'all - listen and love!

K?D - SHOW ME FT. RAHN HARPER

Well, there's not much more I can say about K?d that I have not already ... pretty sure I'm this young producer's #1 fangirl.  I mean really .... all you have to do is listen to this track and know why.  Bananas good!!  "Show Me ft. Rahn Harper" is his most mature and sexy-pants track yet .... filled with future feels and smooth vocals this is a gigantic slice of heaven.  Best part is - you can grab it as a free download HERE!  Get into this one kids!  

STELOUSE x DEVAULT - ALL I NEED

When Denver producer StéLouse drops a fresh track, we here at the BB office always prepare ourselves for what we know is going to be mind blowing goodness! This year StéLouse has become our ultimate homie - we kinda think he's the bee's knees and his music is by far some of the best bass coming out of our headphones. With this latest "All I Need" he teams up with another awesome LA producer Devault to create is sexy future bass gem that will get your day started with a bang! There is a ton of awesome music today y'all! So many tracks - so little time! This next premiere is from our super homie Honest! Last time I was with this legend in LA I was on my second bottomless mimosa brunch and we were challenged to see who could drink more ... I think he won, I can't remember! Haha! [PREMIERE] STEPHEN - CROSSFIRE (SUMMITSCAPE REMIX)

SummitScape has made a name fore themselves putting together some slick remixes for the likes of Galantis, The Killers and a Betty Who remix we previously featured. Well now they've returned with a sick, bassy remix of one of our favorite rising artists right now Stephen. "Crossfire" is a catharsis of emotion and SummitScape's remix is totally on point. The record starts appropriately mellow eventually building into a bright drop with an expressive blaring synth line that's tight af. Unfortunately we just heard some bad news that the SummitScape boys are splitting up citing an all too well known reason: artistic differences. At BB we've seen our fair share of duos head their separate ways and we always want to wish them the best of luck! Writing music together can be a challenging ordeal and sometimes pursuing other avenues is the best option. We've been informed that Harry has already chosen to re-brand as Thoreau. and has done so with SummitScape's former soundcloud page. We'll be looking out for the new Thoreau. music as it hits our inbox, but until then enjoy SummitScape's last release!
