SLOW MAGIC - LIGHT FT. TROPICS

Finally it's Friday and I am ready to crush this weekend with large amounts of chill. To kick things off, our love Slow Magic has released his new single "Light ft. Tropics" from his forthcoming album and I am psyched! Having been a huge Slow Magic fan since forever, every time this legend puts out new music it's like it's Christmas Day. With light ethereal melodies mixed with swirly vocals and synthy future beats, this new track is heavenly! I can't wait to hear more!

CHANCE THE RAPPER - ALL NIGHT (LOUIS THE CHILD REMIX)

Our bb boys Louis The Child are back with another yummy remix, and it's just what the Dr. ordered after a long morning commute into the city, or for your first day back to real life after whatever festival you went too last weekend! These boys were in my hood at Outside Lands Festival .... crushed it! Today they drop new remix of "All Night" by Chance The Rapper, and it has all that Louis The Child flavor we love!  They also just announced new tour dates with some pretty great support artists - check and see if they are playing your city HERE! ASHE - USED TO IT (AIRE ATLANTICA REMIX)

Ashe is a familiar name to our blog pages. The airy indie pop vocalist is known for her work with a slew of rising electronic producers such as Whethan, Louis The Child, Ben Phipps, and Win and Woo to name a few. She recently launched her solo career with a strong debut, a jazzy bop full of laissez-faire attitude called “Used To It."

A name that has surprisingly not yet been featured on the blog is Aire Atlantica. Another rising artist, Aire Atlantica is a “september born music producer from nyc” according to his FB page. He’s released some killer electronic remixes for the likes of Hotel Garuda, Billie Eilish, and K.Flay with his remix of “Blood In The Cut” probably being my favorite. Also be sure to check out his new originals which are more in the dance-pop crossover lane but are equally pleasing to the ear.

This latest remix of Aire’s comes via Ashe’s label Mom + Pop Records. It’s a bright new take on the record that almost feels as if Ashe is singing from aboard a 2048 space station instead of 2017 Venice Beach, California. That’s the best way I can describe it. I’ll just have to keep bumping this one in my car in LA until I can afford a trip outside the stratosphere.

SAM MARTIN - BRING ME HOME (PAPA YA REMIX)

Papa Ya isn't new to our BB pages, we've featured their fun loving originals "Sunny" and "Outta Here" which have both put up phenomenal streaming numbers, and really put the project on the map. Well today they're back but this time with a new Papa Ya remix. Sam Martin's bluesy original "Bring Me Home" gets a faster tempo and perky update with this remix morphing the original into Papa Ya's signature hybrid of tropical, electronic and pop. Synth and piano stabs, lead the way while the chorus fills in with a hornlike synth melody that's just all too catchy. This record is a perfect fit to re-energize the waning days of summer.  

VINDATA + SKRILLEX + NSTASIA - FAVOR

Polishing off my work week with an unsuspecting, yet magical collaboration. Vindata, Skrillex, and NSTASIA just teamed up to drop their single, "Favor." The track combines three artists who excel in their respective genres. Skrillex, who is noted as a legendary heavy-bass producer slowed things down a bit on "Favor." The track yields high-frequency hype aromas, sewn together with throaty, passionate, R&B vocals. It is both soothing, and moving with it's pleasantly contradicting production. The track's drops are unique in that instead of dropping down, and deep, they rise with effervescence. Above all, in the simplest terms, the track is pretty- it has a glowing resonance, with an approachable energy, yet remains distinctly original. The three parties involved are blazing trails in their solo careers, but have proved that genre's are not concrete, and seemingly unusual collaboration is nothing short of novel. Not gonna lie - I've had a fan girl crush on Alexander Lewis for a minute. Not only does he bring a creative twist to his music, developing a signature sound all his own with his trombone, he also fucking slays a live set like nobody's business. Our next Buzzzmix Vol. 42 comes from this Los Angeles producer, and all I can say is get ready to throw some serious trap arms. This one is packed full of so much new music from this legend that we're kinda flipping out. [PREMIERE] AXEL MANSOOR - WASTED MY LOVE (SLEEPING LION + DULSAE REMIXES)

If you missed the sudden arrival of Axel Mansoor a few short months ago, then you best get hip to the program. His debut singles "Wasted My Love" and "Out of My Head" have collectively hit 1 million streams and notched some impressive milestones like Spotify US Viral Top 5 and Hype Machine #1. Well today we're celebrating the premiere of two delectable remixes from Sleeping Lion and Dulsae of "Wasted My Love". The first from Boston's Sleeping Lion being a downtempo experimental jam rife with layered modulated vocals, deep pulsating synths and playfully sexy melodic lines. The second from Dulsae is my personal favorite of the two - an upbeat exploration on the original that takes flight in the chorus with pulsing swarms of synth work that complements the guitar all too perfectly. Both valiant re-imaginings on the original it was tough to pick just one so I give you both!

Mielo is an artist we can get behind! This Chicago producer is starting his rise to greatness, and we're here to kick off his first US tour! So excited to announce the Illusory Tour where Mielo will be hitting a number of festivals and select city club plays. We've gotten to know this yung producer pretty well over the past year, having made a siiick guest mix for BUZZZMIX VOL. 37 as well as featured at our SXSW party in Austin, so we're pretty much fam. His future bass feels always make us feel warm and fuzzy while shaking our butts on the dance floor ... throwing trap arms of course! Check out the dates blow and get out to a show! 

BRASSTRACKS - FAVORITE (FEAT. VANJESS)

Well here they are again. My dudes Brasstracks are back on the pages of BB. Conor and Ivan have continually left me in a great headspace with their sexy brand of electro soul. Their originals (check out "Good Love ft. Jay Prince") have been just as cool as their covers (listen to their "All Of the Lights Cover" with our Buzzzmix partner today Alexander Lewis) and there's no sign of slowing down. This new single featuring R&B Nigerian American duo VanJess is a slowed down house jam with a mysterious quality to it that should take you straight to the neon clouded skyline of Tokyo. The vocal melody in the second part of the choruses just floats upward with silky smooth precision that's almost equal parts haunting and relaxing. "I just want to be...your favorite" she sings...well I think this one may just be exactly that.
