However, this little break that I'm taking from emails with agents and advancing shows to talk about this legend is well deserved - for all of us on the grind today! Pat Lok is such a boss! He's become a welcome addition to the Beautiful Buzzz family this past year; we love his Canadian ass! We also love his sweet sweet jams, like his latest original "Your Lips ft. DiRTY RADiO" which has layers and layers of feels! Pat Lok's chill disco vibes fill every desire to find that late afternoon happy place! Pop this one on for your drive home and groove! 

MARCUS MARR & CHET FAKER - THE TROUBLE WITH US (ORIGINAL MIX)

Okay I've got your cure for the Monday blues right here! This is a tremendous feel good tune courtesy of London based Marcus Marr and the always stellar Chet Faker. "The Trouble With Us" doesn't get too complicated and that's where I feel this track excels. Driving in the beginning with a flanging, funky guitar (or is it bass?) line, the disco beat eventually flashes in with a super catchy pop oriented chorus. "Ohh god that's the trouble with me" sings Chet reminding us that trust is a two way street, and that's the "Trouble With Us." This track could make waves, and I can definitely see this as a radio crossover hit.

The life of a full time independent talent buyer and promoter is close to round the clock work, and after a light email weekend with agents and managers being out of town at big music events around the world, it's all back to business this morning - the struggle is real! Good thing my job allows me to work with brilliant artists like SNBRN, because without dudes like him I'd feel like it's all for nothing! This little angel and 100 percent fam dropped his new original "Beat The Sunrise ft. Andrew Watt" and this one is made for the dance floor! It has that steady low-end beat that we have grown to love from SNBRN, and this time he's added a bit of a tropical feel keeping summertime vibes around for just a bit longer!  Boom! BASENJI - AIR

In celebration of my trip to Los Angeles this week, I want to talk about this Aussie legend Basenji! I'll be catching his set at the Future Classic party this weekend and I'm super psyched. Most Future Classic parties are right where you want to be, filled with the most amazing artists and awesome vibes, and I might be most excited to see Basenji.  A few weeks back he released the Trackpad EP, and I've been listening to it quite a bit, because it's brilliant. CRYWOLF - WAKE [E-BOW]

For the past few weeks I have become very familiar with an artist who has completely stolen my heart. I may or may not have developed a slight obsession, because I can't stop talking about him to my peers, and lately there seem to be a few six degrees of separation happening between us, but in this business that's almost required! He's called Crywolf and he's awesome! This LA singer/songwriter/producer is making some of the most brilliant indie electronic jams theses ears have heard in a minute! I'm swooning big time! "Wake [E-bow]" is the second single off his debut album Cataclasm out mid November, and expect to hear a new single sometime this week, I'll definitely be talking about it! Hey now ... check this one out! Bay Area boys are back with a deep house jam we are kinda wild about! BLU J are no strangers to these parts - we love all the things they do and this new track "TGTHR ft. Reaon" is on fleek! CRUELS - TOP 5 SUMMER JAMS

It's about time the whole world meets Cruels! I've known this legend for years from other projects he's worked on, and I have to say his latest reincarnation into Cruels just might be my favorite! I've always had mad respect tho, his bay area band was quite popular and I have even been known to say, "that guy is the real genius" - which he probably doesn't know about, but now I guess I've just given away all my secrets! The proof is right here kids - his debut track "Give It Up ft. Salt Ashes" is pretty amazing, a perfect combination of indie house beats with some dance pop feels - it's very chic! He also just told me about some very exciting future tracks featuring some pretty amazing artists we all know and love, so better keep your eyes and ears on this one! I asked Crules to share his Top 5 Summer Jams which includes his track, well done sir! Cruels - Give It Up ft. Salt Ashes
I basically picked this one because, A. It's my first release as a solo artist and B. I like it. :)  Salt Ashes was amazing to work with and she's quite the gift of the track. Two parts tropical house, One part UK garage.

Ren Phillips - Comfort In Your Company ft. Cameron Bloomfield
Love when someone properly chops a vocal sample. This beat has a very "Peaches N' Cream" 1996 shuffle that I love that morphs into an almost Reggaeton/Garage cadence. Also, Cameron Bloomfields voice will make you melt into a steaming puddle.

DIGY - Tragedy ft. KIRSCH
This is some smooth dark RnB. It's perfect example of how it should be done. Slow and pumping. Distant pig-squeel guitars. Take note Weeknd.

Archy Stranger - Fundamentalism
I just heard this the other day and was taken back how lovely the vocals are and how well a vocal sample for the chorus hits. Heavy bruhhhh.

Brayton Bowman - Real
This song is almost like if Michael Buble did new modern music with Cashmere Cat.  I love it's throttle-voiced, snare upbeat, fast hi hat shuffles. The vocal edited is great and sits nicely without getting too annoying. Turn this jam on when you wanna clean your house in UK style.

MØ - KAMIKAZE

MØ + Diplo - they do it again! what a great combination! MØ released her new single "Kamikaze" that she and Diplo worked on together - and yea, of course it's great!
