THE BUZZZ BOX - NOVEMBER 11

Happy 43rd anniversary to my awesome parents - I have no idea how you've kept it together and strong all these years!  We have been lazy with our Buzzz Box playlist, but that's all changing now kidos!  We have 20 fresh tracks for your listening pleasure this week that will definitely get you looking forward to your weekend adventures! RAINER + GRIMM - TALK TO ME FEAT. MELANIE

I'm such a sucker for amazing vocals and this being the first original single by Rainer + Grimm has me super stoked! Soo vibey, the Toronto duo have been on a tear this year crafting amazing remixes for the likes of our homie Bit Funk, Golden Coast, Zhu, Years and Years and others, but now they're off into original land with "Talk To Me." Vocal chops over the beat with a dreamy piano line brings us to Melanie's wonderfully longing vocals. "Why don't you talk to me? I'm just trying to feel the love again," she sings as the warm arpeggiated bass line bounces with xylophone hits on top. Great start for the guys, and I know we can expect more good things from here!

NGHTMRE & BOOMBOX CARTEL - AFTERSHOCK (ORIGINAL MIX)

We're getting melodic and very hype this AM with this new NGHTMRE & Boombox Cartel collab. "Aftershock" starts off with a pensive piano intro with a longing vocal chop, but quickly turns it up with future bright synth explosions. Don't get too lulled into dreamland yet because then we get snapped into the real build. True to NGHTMRE form this track gets HUGE with a trappy glitchy drop that swipes you up in the air and then pounds you back down to earth. You're relieved back into the Boombox Style piano riff from the beginning, and the song takes on its full shape. Equal parts melodic and grungy this track is blissfully heavy. Just the kind of excellence we would expect from a collaboration of this magnitude. OH and it's that FREE DL homies!    

ANDERSON .PAAK - AM I WRONG (FT. SCHOOLBOY Q)

Pardon me while I geek out like a 70's disco DJ for second. All the kool kids get down with this record right here! We've got a discolicious, super satisfying soul selection to fill your brain with wavy flames of collaboration perfection! You still with me ha ha?? Ok I'm done, but let me start to fire off this amazing list of artists involved with this track. First off Anderson .Paak has been quickly building a serious following over the last few months collaborating with the likes of Kaytranada and more. Then we have Schoolboy Q and Omarion lending some big time vocal heavy hitting, BUT WAIT there's more. On the production side we have a Beautiful Buzzz regular POMO ripping the beat, and our recent faves Brasstracks lending their horns at the end. The result is a magical musical cocktail that goes down soo smooth. Gotta love a collaboration of this magnitude!

TOBTOK - FAST CAR FT. RIVER

I know many of you were probably not around during 1988 so you may not remember this song when it came out, but I do because I am kind of an old lady these days!  This track was massive during its time; I was a wee lass then, but I loved every ounce of it!  Now that our homie Tobtok has produced this amazing cover of "Fast Car ft. River" I am reliving all those amazing feelings I had as a kid -- and I mean .... it's Tobtok!!  Always amazing!!  

WDL - STARDUST FT. ELLIPHANT

Oh snap! Remember way back in 2014 when I was gushing over Swedish producer WDL (look HERE) - I was obsessed with his track "With Blood" and I played it for anyone that would listen.  He's been quiet for a minute, but now .... we have a new track and I have a big smile on my face!  "Stardust ft. Elliphant" is a brilliant kick-off to WDL's long awaited return, and teaming up with such an amazing artist such as Elliphant is giving me the warm and fuzzies!  THIS TRACK .... WOW!! Jazz infused 90's hip-hop flavor topped with electro beats .... I mean ... I'm gushing again!!   

AMTRAC - LOVER (ORIGINAL MIX)

Here's a hot track to kick off your weekend dance party - grab your dancing shows and disco balls because this one is gonna have you moving.  Our favorite southern gentlemen AMTRAC dropped this new scorcher today, and we are feeling it six ways from Sunday.  "Lover" has that sexy house groove we love from AMTRAC, and this one is part of Kitsune's Hot Stream compilation .... dope! Listen and love! 

CRYWOLF - SLOW BURN

If you are a regular to Beautiful Buzzz - you know I am totally smitten with Crywolf. Lately he's been on point with all things I believe to be great, and this latest single is another reason you need to get into him immediately!!  The fourth and final release from forthcoming album Cataclasm  is here -- "Slow Burn" is just as sexy and dreamy as the other three, and I am looking forward to this record more than anything! His sweet sensual voice is like an angel, and the last time I said that about someone was a few years back when talking about this little up-and-coming singer named Sam Smith.  I digress, Crywolf is that good -- I'm swooning again! His synthy melodies hit all the right buttons, and his lyrics ..... guess what he's also a fucking poet!  Artists like this are the reason I do what I do!!  Bananas good!  The album drops NOV 20 and you can pre-order that bad boy HERE!
