NAWAS - SO LOW

Admittedly I'm a huge sucker for pop melodies and familiar chord progressions, however I also love hearing new music with some serious edge to it. Let us introduce you to NAWAS. Now based in Nashville, NAWAS has delivered a dark indie pop, sort of R&B/soulful sounding record that has a rich instrumental and even some rapping. The deep lyrical content puts an intellectual microscope to the record, further expanding it's appeal. According to Jake Nawas the song is "about discovering life on a higher plan of existence and how the pathway to enlightenment may affect one's relationship with God." Sounds existential ha ha, but I'll keep things simple and state that this is just a dope track!

BRYCE FOX - HORNS

Damn this new track from the foxy beast himself Bryce Fox is getting us at BB all kinds of horny. Fitting name for such a devilishly good blues rock record that bites with sharp teeth and enters your mind with an ear-worm chorus hook that's more infectious than the zika virus...Whatt?? too soon for the zika reference? Yeah maybe, but regardless if you're not up on this Bryce Fox train yet you better hop on board fast. I had the opportunity to go and see his debut live show Monday night and damn I'm super excited for this stud. If you haven't had a chance to hear his breakout single "Burn Fast" or the amazing remixes that have come from it, then you haven't been paying attention. Now this being his second incredible single and it seems something of a movement is developing. If Bryce continues to keep the heat up this high, I think we'll be seeing some major moves coming real soon.

GOSHFATHER - SLEEPLESS NIGHTS FT. LAURYN VYCE

Goshfather has been on a tear with his latest couple releases check out "Gasoline Ft. Brenna Cambell" such a killer tune! But I wanted to support this track "Sleepless Nights Ft. Lauryn Vyce" because of the meta house, disco, but mostly hype feels on this one! The track features string samples, funky synth sounds, quick head bobbing arps and just an overall feeling of epic grooviness. Lauryn Vyce's vocals shine through amping this whole track to another level. We're super psyched on this new sound from the Goshfather himself, and v excited to hear what's coming up next! OSHI - VACANT

Oshi snuck this one in there last night ... surprise! Like we wouldn't see this or something! This young London producer is something quite special - and his set at our SXSW show last month (see photo below) was awesome! We also got to talk some shit and giggle together, oh the drama! Sweet little angel, this kid is the next thing ... calling it! Oshi's new track Vacant is filled with all the future goodness .... swooning!!  

JAYKODE & WHIIITE - REVELATION

I'm kinda loving everything this Los Angeles producer is putting into the world, and recently we took young JayKode under our wing, making him part of our BB fam and giving him all the support any talented music maker deserves!  Today he's teamed up with fellow Los Angeles producer Whiiite to drop this classic bass track "Revolution" and it's siiiick! FALCONS & EKALI - I WON'T LIE FT. VANESSA ELISHA

I always try to make room in the day for some serious bass, and holy cow this one is on fleek! From two artists who have both been scheduled to play our SXSW party but one had to cancel because of some unavoidable circumstances, Falcons and Ekali have just released a new original collab "I Won't Lie ft. BLOODBOY - HUMAN FEMALE

Full disclosure - I got sidetracked yesterday making artwork for a few upcoming show we've not announced and my whole "talking about a few amazing ladies that dropped some pretty great tracks this past week" got thrown out of wack - so let's just pick it up now, shall we! Bloodboy tho .... so cool!  She's all shiny and new - and her first track "Human Female" dropped a few days back where we LOVED it - but are only just now getting to share it! Bloodboy is all things great with indie pop, and her sultry voice is bananas good! Get into this one kids!   

OFELIA K - CINCO

I am 100% in a indie electro pop mood today, so I'm gonna be talking about a few amazing ladies that dropped some pretty great tracks this past week!  First up is Los Angeles songstress Ofelia K and her electrifying new single "Cinco" that is pretty much the coolest thing you're gonna hear today!  Her style of mixing gentle vocals among big sounding melodies is fabulous -- the build in this track is something else!  Loving it! We've seen some pretty amazing things come from Ofelia K .... can't wait to see what's next!
