Of course the day my bestie STéLOUSE drops this fire I had a family emergency ... usually I am harassing him and his management/my boyfriends to be the first one to post tracks or get that premiere! So today I am playing catch up with one of the most bad ass and influential artists I have come across in quite some time. Before I knew STéLOUSE, a friend of mine and I used to take long drives and play every track we could find by this Denver producer and nerd/fangirl out. While I'm sure he finds this very amusing, seeing as how we're now bosom buddies, but I'll never claim to be anything but a music lover and a fan -- these artists breathe life and meaning into my world, I'm nothing w/o them. STéLOUSE releases his new single "Lovers ft. Brave" and once again he strikes the awesome chord! Taking a more pop approach, this new one is complete with sexy dance floor groove and delicious future pop flavor ... STéLOUSE can  do no wrong!  

BOEHM - LET'S GIVE IT A SHOT (FEAT. BRANDYN BURNETTE)

I'm a bit late getting to this new one from Boehm, but it's already been putting up some big numbers on spotify with almost 800,000 plays since it's release. Sparking 2017 off right, this hybrid tropical house and pop tune features an assortment of bells, and xylophones, infectious vocal warping and a spritely rhythm section. The bass pumping Aussies Slumberjack have given us their first track of 2017 and damn it's a really good one. "Fracture" is an emotionally charged combo of world beats, gripping sweeping synths, and of course bombastic bass. Vera Blue's longing vocals take this tune to another level as the guys tight rope walk a perfect line between a hard hitting hype anthem, and an emotional roller coaster. Honestly tho - this next premiere is pretty dope! Our loves over at Perfect Havoc just handed us another disco house heater, but I expect nothing less from our friends across the pond! Eat More Cake are a DJ/Production/ Songwriting collective from London creating some pretty awesome deep house jams that got me feeling some kind of way. "Heat Of The Night" is full of provocative deep disco vibes that will light up any dance floor. I've always wanted to be a part of a creative music collective, starting back with Prince and the NPG - I mean I really wanted to be part of the NPG ... always being seen together and belonging to something bigger than myself, creating music with other talented people and throwing parties. But .... I realize that I'm destin to be on my own, and actually the world is my collective, and I've become a little part of it all through Beautiful Buzzz - getting to spread the word about awesome collectives like Eat More Cake. Our little baby angel Whethan has released another great single with Oliver Tree, full of fun summery vibes that are warming up my cold NoCal morning. Whethan and Oliver Tree are becoming quite the duo, and I'm thinking this is not the last we'll see from the pair.
