[PREMIERE] THOREAU - LIKE WE USED TO (FT. JERIS)

The man the myth the growing legend that is Thoreau continues to put together brilliant tracks. His latest "Like We Used To" featuring Jeris is a driving thumper that is equal parts dance floor heater and emotional rollercoaster. Coming off a hot 2017 which brought him a Trap Nation premiere of "Illusion ft. Tina Decara" and a signing to Spotted Records, now we're gifted with this lovely record. Jeris' vocals decry a love that has fallen from the good days accompanied by Thoreau's instrumental full of dramatic drones and a pumping low end that keeps you bobbing from start to finish. This is a terrific new tune from this camp and a great way to start off a soon to be break out year.

This morning is a rough one - there is a thick layer of fog over the city and I just want to stay in bed all day! Somehow I am already at the office and on the computer listening to jams! What's really got me feeling vibes this morning is our next premiere! Up-and-coming producer Khamsin drops a siick new original track "Second Guess ft. Anuka" for our listening pleasure. Lemaitre" by our loves Hotel Garuda is the perfect thing to bring up sunny summertime vibes. [PREMIERE] BIJOU & EVAN ALLEN FT. KALEENA ZANDERS - COUNT ON ME

There are a few producers who are owning the G-House genre, and our sweet friend BIJOU is at the forefront of this powerful dance sound. This Arizona based rising star had his break out year in 2017 with big festival plays and headlining tours .... and today we are so pleased to premiere his latest track "Count On Me" with Evan Allen and featuring Kaleena Zanders on them hot soulful vocals. Kaleena says, "Count On Me is one of those songs that when you hear it at festivals you look at you friend and tell them you got their back in any situation. It takes a great team to make anything happen in life, so glad I could count on Bijou & Evan Allen for this song."  Agree! Massive love to BIJOU ... we can't wait to see what's next in 2018! [PREMIERE] ATLAS KNOX - DO IT

This Monday is a rough one .... with 4 nights of amazing shows this past weekend I've finally caught that fall sickness from too much party + team no sleep! As I forced myself into the office this morning to wrap up some things before I go back home to take a healthy dose of NyQuil and crawl back into bed - I remembered we have a great track for our next premiere! Newcomer Atlas Knox has dropped a shiny new dance gem for our listening pleasure, and it's turning my frown upside down! With bright bouncy dance beats and light playful vocals, "Do It" brings a happy dance vibe that's reminiscent of long summer nights and swooning over first loves! We don't know much about Atlas Knox, but we know we like what we hear!

This SF/LA duo have started making moves, including plying some of our SF shows over the summer! Today they hand us a shiny new remix of "Esay Love" by LAUV which we are swooning over! [PREMIERE] KILL PARIS - OUT OF THE DARK

When Kill Paris reached out to us a few weeks back asking if we could premiere this new gem, we were all very stoked, especially because he said that Beautiful Buzzz is his favorite music blog! We love you too Corey :) 

“Out of the Dark”, the latest release from KP’s Sexy Electric label, is a gorgeous dynamic mood-lifter of an electronic track. It begins with relaxed piano and ethereal modulated vocals and quickly develops into a more energetic section rife with beautiful melodies and killer drum beats. The remainder of the track continues the interplay between the relaxed chill sections and the more brightly colored sections where the lively energy lies. It’s almost as if you’re falling in and out of a dream state where your mood instantly shifts from calm to excited, and back to calm again.

Kill Paris shared a few words about the track with us:

“I found myself in a moment of bewilderment with the world. In that moment, I felt an intuitional energy arise that said: no matter what’s going on in the world, good or bad, we have the power to transmute and transform anything. I can't think of a better way of waking up in the morning -- rolling out of bed and seeing a new Moving Castle release! Our favorite little label never disappoints. Bonus time - I get to premiere this bad boy today ... and its everything! Literally! "Everything ft. Ria" is the latest release from rising star Rusty Hook whom we've been pretty excited about lately, and this French producer is bringing heat. With bouncy melodies and melodic future beats Rusty Hook turns the volume to 10 for all the fantastic chair dancing feels. I'm currently alone in my office throwing trap arms - if my staff could only see me now! This is the second single off his EP Romance Is Dead, Good Riddance that comes out NOV 16th. [PREMIERE] ASTRE - SHADES FT. KEVIN BLU (MADNAP & METSA REMIX)

Having only been added to the Moving Castle Collective in March of this year, French producer/musician Astre has since seen waves of success, support, and synchronicity. His original track, "Shades" featuring rapper Kevin Blu released a mere 4 months ago; after well-received feedback from critics and music fans alike, Astre is passing along the track to various producers, musicians, and DJ's to allow their taste to re-shape and capitalize on the original. This particular remix comes from Pacific Northwest producer,  Metsa and LA-based Madnap. The collaborative treatment is a down-tempo, charming piece with Eastern-world aromas that serve to emphasize Kevin Blu's accented rhymes. Intentionally more Lo-Fi than the OG single, this duo's flip yields a vintage expulsion while remaining true to the original notes. Its glitchy interludes are carefully placed and layered, heeding a head-nodding, introspective energy that sticks to each space later coming to fruition in the form of an elctro-R&B vision. This twosome tackled their flip with grace and confidence- a track to be revered and respect. Volume up.
