Well our infatuation with MOONZz continues and the remixes of her new EP 'Trust Cycles' are just starting to break beginning with young upstart producer DNMO's take on "Wonder." We reviewed his first release, a driving rework of NGHTMRE, Krewella and Pegboard Nerds' "Superstar," and we were excited to hear his follow up. This "Wonder" remix is a magical rework with driving bass, pads and piano lifting up MOONZz's vocals to new heights. The chorus hits and we dive into a distorted drop of hammering bliss. A fresh update to the original you can nab this as a free download here.

RÜFÜS - INNERBLOOM (LANE 8 REMIX)
Remix1 CommentTalk about one of the chillest, dopest matches made in heaven. The very distinctive and identifiable atmospheric indie dance we've come to know and love from our favorite Aussie friends RÜFÜS (or techinically RÜFÜS DU SOL here in the States) has gotten the Lane 8 deep house treatment, and it has been so ideal for my Wednesday workday. If you're in LA, you may have had a chance to see RÜFÜS DU SOL in August at the Snapchat-sponsored Twilight Concert Series at the Santa Monica Pier ;)
This remix tho. 7 minutes in heaven, for real. The chillest of vibes. The uber-talented German Lane 8 has taken an already incredible track and made it somehow even more beautiful, calming and therapeutic. He's added rolling percussion and a gorgeous flowing lead line, creating the perfect backdrop for divine moments of elevated dance floor sensation. Stream it now and grab it as part of the Official "Innerbloom" Remix Package out October 21. Oh and don't forget RÜFÜS is on tour now, so check those dates out HERE to find out when they'll be in your city.
PROMISES LTD. - DAYS OF LAVENDER (AMTRAC REMIX)
Music, Remix, EventCommentI cannot tell you how excited I am for our annual Halloween party Deadly Disco, and this year is going to be bananas! With a killer lineup and amazing 4000 cap venue - we'll be dancing the night away for one of San Francisco's biggest parties of the year! Deep house legend Amtrac is featured on this year's bill and I am over the moon! Amtrac is such the homie and I have not seen him since our show together last summer - so we're overdue for the hangs! He's released this bad ass remix of "Days Of Lavender" by Promises Ltd. that's filled with that sexy disco groove signature Amtrac sound that we tend to swoon over! Advance tickets to Deadly Disco are still on sale, but they are moving quick to if you're in the bay area ... get on this!
MATOMA - FALSE ALARM (JUSTICE SKOLNIK REMIX)
Music, Remix1 CommentWe were going to premiere this one, but as the story goes, issues with the label and release got in the way big time. It's a mystery why labels struggle to get organized with releases so often ... this yung producer was not even given the courtesy of a fresh soundcloud upload. So, please ignore the age here - it's brand new not 2 months old! I digress, how stoked are we to talk about Bay Area producer Justice Skolnik right now? Bananas good! He's dropped a siiiick remix of "False Alarm" by Matoma that is full of future pop dance vibes with a tinge of that tropical Matoma flavor. Get into this one kids!
EMBER ISLAND X RADIOHEAD - CREEP (THOREAU REMIX)
Music, RemixCommentWell these are three names I'm definitely excited to see together. Thoreau has been developing his own brand of guitar laden future bass that fits perfectly underneath Ember Island's incredibly juicy cover of Radiohead's classic "Creep." The beginning of this remix is hauntingly beautiful and melodic eventually building toward a rawkus breakdown of bright melodies and a sporadic dubby wobble. The real bliss in this remix however I think is the way Harry aka Thoreau has layered the breakdowns. The second verse is mysterious and longing with a hidden intensity to it eventually taking us to a thoroughly exciting finale full of fantastic electric guitar. With Halloween right around the corner you couldn't ask for a better tune to get us in the mood. You can download this for free right here.
Disclosure: Thoreau is managed by Beautiful Buzzz writer Lindsey Oh
LOVE THY BROTHER - LOVE ME BETTER FT. ARIEL BEESLEY (FRANK WALKER REMIX)
Music, RemixCommentA month after the release of his original mix ‘Run With The Real’ Feat. DAVS, Frank Walker is back with an awesome remix of Love Thy Brother's track ‘Love me Better." The original is an awesome pop/electronic banger with some powerful vocals from Ariel Beesley. Frank Walker does a great job of remixing the song so that it doesn’t lose any of the original awesomeness, but has new added elements to make it his own. Definitely take a look at this one!
[PREMIERE] STEPHEN - CROSSFIRE (KWON REMIX)
Music, Remix, PREMIERECommentThis next premiere is all kinds of sparkly and new - I love showing you guys the best of the new, and this is delicious! Yung DC producer KWON gave us his first official remix to premiere which is super exciting! He's put a fantastic future feels spin on "Crossfire" by Stephen, whom we've been big supporters of this past year. This track is filled with a cadence of glitchy beats mixed with exquisite vocals - it's bananas good! Out of the gate, KWON shows us that he's ready to join the new wave of next generation music makers, well done! Can't wait to hear more!
THE CHAINSMOKERS - CLOSER FT. HALSEY (VICEROY REMIX)
Music, RemixCommentJust as we thought we were at the end of seeing "Closer" remixes, here comes the Sultan of Summer, Viceroy, hitting us with a piano lead disco jam! I got a little chuckle right as I hit play with the Lyn Collins "Think (About It)" sample...oh you thought I was going to say "It Takes Two" from Rob Base and DJ E-Z?? Do your homework of course they took it from Lyn's cut from 1972 - a cool listen by the way. Ha ha I digress...Viceroy has put his own poolside spin on The Chainsmoker's original speeding it up adding guitars, pianos and claps the way Viceroy knows best. According to the artist, “I've known the chainsmokers since the beginning of my career and their team. It's really amazing to see something blow up from the beginnings. When they asked me to remix their hit I was happy to support them. I had a blast and I hope ya'll enjoy it!” You can grab this remix as a free download here.
IMAD ROYAL - BAD 4 U (SWEATER BEATS REMIX)
Music, RemixCommentI supremely loved Imad Royal's endearing original "Bad 4 U" check out our review here. When I saw another BB stand out Sweater Beats had taken to rework the original I figured it was going to be bomb. No surprises here Sweater Beats has updated the original for dance floors and added a fun spin of his own. The drop is lead by an eclectic vocal chop that bends and hops putting a smirk across your face. You can purchase this remix on iTunes here.
