HEY VIOLET - GUYS MY AGE (PRINCE FOX REMIX)

It's starting .... my bestie Prince Fox is releasing new music and I am psyched! I happen to know this legend has a backstock of siiick jams that he's dying to get into the world, and today he's handed me this new remix of "Guys My Age" by Hey Violet. Future Pop-a-licious fun vibes here kids. Prince Fox turns a room into a hot sweaty box of moving bodies -- people go ham like animals, they can't stop themselves!  I've seen it time and time again on my adventures with this yung producer, it's the best kind of carnage, from the greatest guy on the planet! Happy Friday y'all!  As always ... my inbox is flooding with new music this morning. Friday release days can be brutal for one girl with a boutique electronic music blog! As much as I want to get all the music up, if I have a young Australian producer making fire beats to pick from - that's usually the way I go. Sorry, I just like Australian's more than most people, and I've always said there is some kind of magical musical fairy dust that gets sprinkled on people down there because everything that comes out of that country is fire! I'll get to my point - 18 year old producer from Sydney Joe Mason just slayed this new remix of 'Taped Up Heart ft. Clara Mae" by KREAM. With all the juicy big beat vibes and soulful vocals, this track is ready to crush that dance floor! He may be young, but Joe Mason is already winning - how Australian of him! Get into this one!  

[PREMIERE] PARAMORE - MISERY BUSINESS (THOREAU - BACK)

Thoreau's latest addition to his back series is an epic remix of Paramore's "Misery Business." If you were a pop punk head like I was circa 2006 then Paramore was a staple of the game. I and I'm sure countless others had suchh a crush on Haley ha ha. Thoreau's version maintains the same drive of the original, but inserts his signature future bass spikey bliss. SAN HOLO - LIGHT (LOOSID REMIX)

I've been seeing many San Holo "Light" remixes pop up, and all of them have been pretty good - but just now .... I had an eargasm listening to this one by Loosid. It was around this time last year I starting falling in love with Loosid's music - he has that great dark and sexy, slightly epic sound that effortlessly flows into headphone heaven! I feel like I am perpetually one hour late to all things! I can't help it, I get involved in something, most of the time it's work, and all of a sudden I'm late to the party. This morning I am already late for work and I am late getting to this premiere! Granted I was watching our new President take office ... but I digress! What I'm not late on is knowing the greatness of XYLØ, we've been huge fans for a minute, and they played our SXSW party last year. Today's premiere comes from fresh NYC production duo Shades - their dance pop remix of "Get Closer" by XYLØ is delicious! Shades are just starting to make their mark in the dance world, and after hearing this fire future pop feels track I am predicting more awesome things in the future! ATCQ - ELECTRIC RELAXATION (T4PES X NICK AM EDIT)

Brooklyn's T4PES & Nick AM team up to retune A Tribe Called Quest's, "Electric Relaxation", giving the classic track a  upbeat, dance- floor-ready vibe. The two producers ratchet up the tempo and drop in a driving, heavy bass line that gives the song more spring in its step, bringing to mind early Kayranada remixes of Mos Def and Common. PEGBOARD NERDS & NGHTMRE - SUPERSTAR FT. KREWELLA (UNLIKE PLUTO REMIX)

Some mornings it's just easy to roll out of bed and have the perfect pick me up jam to enjoy with that first cup of coffee - and that totally just happened with this new Unlike Pluto remix of "Superstar ft. Krewella" by Pegboard Nerds & NGHTMRE. This Los Angeles producer never seems to let us down with his big sound and bouncy melodies, and he crushes this one with his boisterous dance flavor. Have a good morning! 

EAU CLAIRE - ALL THE WONDER (N2N REMIX)

Well this is an awesome combination of names that has resulted into a juicy record that has got me in such an introspective mood. Eau Claire's been a frequent contributor to our pages, and N2N certainly hasn't been a stranger either. If you have heard N2N's awesome new original "Mistress (ft. Yaarrohs)" then you might start to understand the sound reflected in this remix. Eau Claire's original has more of an upbeat disco vibe to it while N2N's version has taken a deeper more intriguing approach that flips us into another dimension. Channeling the late night vibes, this remix features a lead melody that calmly swoops around as the bass grooves us into a sense of ease. We've heard there are more remixes due from Eau Claire's "All the Wonder" EP soon, but until then you can swoop this as a free download here.
