So I figured it was time to do something with my Beautiful Buzzz Spotify playlist.  It's been sitting untouched for months because I'm only one girl, and even tho I think I can do it all .... I can't! Luckily our BB family is growing, and one of my most favorite people in the whole world has joined the team to be my Spotify Guy! POST MALONE - CONGRATULATIONS (BKAYE X TELYKAST REMIX)

It's nice to see our yung friend BKAYE making all the moves! He's just dropped a new remix of "Congratulations" by Post Malone that is making me feel some kind of way! Teaming up with TELYKast, these emerging artist bring that sexy chill future beats groove that gives you the feels is all the right ways. BKAYE has crushed all the Beautiful Buzzz records with having over 300k streams on his Buzzzmix Vol. 33 (stream HERE) and it has been the most download mix we have ever hosted! WOW! Good news is .... we are welcoming BKAYE back to San Francisco on July 09 at The Phoenix hotel for a poolside party with Sweater Beats and Bearson! FRANK OCEAN - SOLO (LOUIS FUTON FLIP)

Louis Futon has been doing something really cool on his socials. He's been asking his fans to make suggestions on songs he should sample to make beats with, and then making the beats live ... showing us the whole process. Then he's posting the full song so we can all enjoy it's greatness. It's pretty fuckin great to be honest.  It helps those jabronis out there who make statements like "electronic music producers are not real musicians" get a clue. For his second installment, Louis Futon crushed this flip of "Solo" by Frank Ocean.  I expect nothing less than greatness from this legend, Louis Futon constantly blows my mind with this sweet jams! CAVEMAN - LIFE OR JUST LIVING (LIL HANK REMIX)

Lil Hank never ever let's me down .... but on the real ... his latest remix of "Life or Just Living" by Caveman is everything. I was recently hangin in LA with Lil Hank, he invited me to come check out the new Next Wave + Moving Castle offices/store front on Melrose and we spent all afternoon talking and cuddling, and I got to watch him do a photo shoot for new press photos, it was super fun. After meeting him I now 100% get what all the fuss is about - not only is he dropping the freshest jams, basically changing the music industry as the first doggo, but he's also so sweet and grateful just to be alive, greeting every person who walks through the door and instantly making friends. He's not afraid to be himself, sit on your lap, or pee on your couch. He even took a nap on Whethan's head while I was there, proving that he's down to collab with other artists any way he can. Such a dope dude, and deserves all the success. However, the music speaks for itself .... just listen to this new track and try to tell me you don't feel all kinds of sexy! Soaked in dank R&B vibes, this electro soul sound is what dreams are made of .... it's like he's able to tap into your feel good vibes with one lick on the face. Amazing! He recently debuted his first live sets at Coachella and in LA, and I can't wait to see what's next from everyone's favorite top industry dog!

LORDE - GREEN LIGHT (HOTEL GARUDA REMIX)

Well, what a nice surprise! Our bb boys Hotel Garuda just dropped an official remix of "Green Light" by Lorde. Remember the last time one of our favorite artists did a Lorde remix .... yea that was Flume ... and that put him next level. Will the same thing happen for this LA duo? It already has in my heart - but maybe now the whole world will know their greatness. Honestly, Hotel Garuda has been filling my life with music to dance to for some years now, and I just think the world of them .... I mean they have produced some of my all time favorite tracks, and this one is definitely getting added to that list! Crushing! Let's all fucking dance!

THE KNOCKS - TROUBLE (FEAT. ABSOFACTO) [LIONE REMIX]

Well these are two names that are frequent arrivals on our pages, and for good reason. The Knocks have continued to just put out amazing tunes over the years including this rad original "Trouble" from the Testify EP featuring up and comer Absofacto who we recently heard from with his original "Light Outside". Well now we've got another up-and-comer LIONE on remix duties with a bright and sparkly rendition that further energizes the original. LIONE has been making waves over the last year or so with some quality breakout remixes, and he can add this one to the list. So dive in and enjoy! [PREMIERE] LEO STANNARD X FRANCES - GRAVITY (LUCA SCHREINER REMIX)

While this week has brought no shortage of high profile new releases from the likes of massive artists like Kendrick Lamar and Frank Ocean and indie stars like Sweater Beats and Bishop Briggs, I’ve got a premiere for you today that I hope makes new fans out of BB readers of some names that are new to me as well. 

When this remix found it’s way into my inbox I wondered how I hadn’t heard of Leo Stannard, Frances, or Luca Schreiner yet. The caliber of the original artists’ voices and the polished contemporary bounce of the production exemplify what’s great about new music these days. I would show this track to people who argue that there’s no good music coming out now. "Gravity" is just a great song with catchy pop songwriting, smooth vocals from Stannard and Frances who are both from the UK (naturally), and it’s full of happy vibes, an ode to the one person that is always there for you, your ride or die, or as Leo puts it, your ‘Gravity’. Young German producer Luca Schreiner, whose tropical deep house crossovers we’ve actually supported in the past, has managed to put a little pep into it and make it dance floor friendly while still preserving the original’s impact as an uplifting pop anthem. 

Speaking on this remixing effort, Luca told us, “With this remix it was all about keeping the dreamy yet beautiful vibe of the original and giving it a ‘modern’ type of electronic sound. I also wanted to include more natural instruments so I added the horn elements, which has become a trademark sound of my last several productions. The key was to not whitewash Leo and Frances’ amazing vocals: it was more important to add unique sounds to complete an already amazing sonic picture.”

[PREMIERE] MAKO - WISH YOU BACK FT. KWESI (NOTD REMIX)

We're squeezing this last minute premiere in today, because MAKO is bananas good and this NOTD remix of "Wish You Back ft. Kwesi" is delicious. The Hourglass Remix EP drops at the end of the month, and today NOTD hands us this delightful pop gem that is giving off the feel good vibes through the headphones. With chill melodies and a touch of future pop feels, NOTD eases us into our afternoon with a happy little love song of loss and regret, who knew that was even possible! Ha! Those vocals tho .... so yummy! You guys can pre-order the remix EP HERE!   

STÉLOUSE - BEEN SO LONG (FT. NICK LENG) [CHRISTOFI REMIX]

Ahh lookie lookie who's been in the kitchen whippin up some tasty treats for us. Oh and it's a StéLouse remix too?? Many yummies in our BB tummies. Christofi's been slanging stellar tracks over the last year, and played a killer set at our SXSW showcase a few short weeks ago. His remix takes "Been So Long" off for a nice bike ride over some bricky melodic bass cobblestone. Christofi adds a bit of gritty distortion to the tune amping it up for higher pallets and it feels oh so good. You can nab this as a free download here.
