One of my most favorite LA bands - Saint Motel - released a new remix today of their song "At Least I Have Nothing" - remixed by Junk. Thier live snows are insane, and usually themed....I have been to their Zombie Proms, Judgement Day party, etc....and it's always a ton of fun! They have the hot ticket in LA - will sell out every show and are about to launch into an amazing career....and they are really ctue!

It is the season for new music! I am just bursting with so much new music I can hardly contain myself!! This band is awesome - Deleted Scenes come from Washington, DC and are going to be killing SXSW this year. I posted a video of theirs a while back and I really love this track! Guitarist Dan Scheuerman describes, "'The Days of Adderall' are a mythical time of clarity when all your ideas seem good and the world is digestible, before you realize the probability of failure."
They are on tour and I hear put on a very good show. I will be checking them out that the end of this month! Oh, and you can get a free download of this song from the soundcloud player below! Yay!!

I LOVE this band! I am loving this new track!! School Of Seven Bells holds a special place in my heart for 2 reasons. First, when the Brooklyn, NY music scene was the new cool thing and so much amazing music was coming out of that city, this band was on the top of my list. I just thought they were so great! Second, I usually don't like female singers - I don't know why and I can't explain it - I just don't. However - when I find one that I do like....I love it over most things! This band does that for me!
New album coming out next month! Yay!! It's called "Ghostory" and it will be out February 27 (UK) and February 28 (US)!! Here is a new track from that record called "Lafavy"!! Enjoy!

One of my most favorite albums in 2009 was by this amazing band, Bear In Heaven! They come from Brooklyn and their music is mostly made up of textural, spacious three to four minute pop anthems with towering choruses. Perfect!
They have a new album coming out this year, April 3 to be percise, called "I Love You, It's Cool "...... and I will be at the record store on that day to pick up this vinyl...for sure!! Here is a new track from that album "The Reflection Of You"! Enjoy!
Coachella - 2012 Lineup Announced

After months of speculation the time has finally come! Coachella is announced! In the circles I run, this is very exciting news. I don't actually go to Coachella (unless one of my bands are playing), but it is fun to think about the perfect lineup and all the fun it is. I went to see Prince....I mean I go to Coachella when Prince plays!!
This year looks sick - and for the first time ever it will be over two weekends in April. Both weekends are the exact same line up which means Goldenvoice can sell out the festival twice! Amazing! This line up......is awesome!!! Wow!!
