NEW VIDEO/US TOUR: DJANGO DJANGO - LIFE'S A BEACH

Following a sold-out tour of select US cities this fall, British four-piece Django Django will return stateside for a coast-to-coast tour in support of their self-titled, debut album, out now on Ribbon Music.  The band will make first time appearances in Philadelphia, Washington DC, Boston, Portland amongst many others.  Catch Django Django this spring and witness why they are becoming a favorite of so many. NEW MUSIC: RADAR BROS. - IF WE ARE BANISHED

After my super crazy day, nothing is better right now than this new tune from the ever so awesome Radar Bros.  I can full on turn off my mind when listening to this track, letting myself get lost in the super fuzzy guitars and relaxing to the whistle sounding melody through out....... aahhhhhhhh!

Having multiplied into a six-piece collective brotherhood, Radar Bros. spent the past few years collaborating, meshing their writing styles and recording an album that seamlessly welds together various worlds.  The band will release Eight on January 29, 2013.  Eight (being their eighth record) may well be Radar Bros. darkest, hardest rocking, most psychedelic, and yet most intensely personal album to date.  Jim Putnam’s knack for melody and surreal lyricisms are well intact, only darker and more personal at times, hilarious at others, poetically inspired at others..........and you can pre-order that bad boy HERE

REMIX: THE FAINT - EVIL VOICES (ICKY BLOSSOMS REMIX)

NEW VIDEO: ST. LUCIA - SEPTEMBER

Today St. Lucia has released their new video for "September" - their most techno sounding single which was released on it's own EP back in September of this year.  The best part about watching this video this morning was the ad on youtube that plays before the video was the new Victoria's Secret commercial that features St. Lucia song "All Eyes On Me" which was also released today.  Brilliant!  I love love love this band - things are going well for St. Lucia which is totally deserved!  I'll be seeing them at the end of this month here in San Francisco at Wintersalt  - they are also currently on tour on the east coast with my favorite Aussie band Gold Fields - what I would give to see that show!

NEW VIDEO: HAIM - DON'T SAVE ME

HAIM, the California trio of sisters comprised of Danielle, Este, and Alana Haim, have just released the music video for their new single "Don't Save Me."  HAIM's style, crafted since childhood, takes the best of classic rock, 80s pop and 90s R&B, blending it into a refreshing, infinitely likeable sound they've made all their own.  HAIM is set to release their debut album on Columbia Records in Spring 2013.

REMIX: CALVIN LOVE - MAGIC HEARTS (COOPER SAVER REMIX)

With backing influences of pop and dance music of the 50’s and 60’s, as well as the punk/electronic/new wave of the late 70’s and 80’s, Calvin Love's music is a sonic escape into psychological mysteries and enlightened tales of love and death that has SPIN proclaiming, "he makes like M83, cooing over shiny synths and chill beats, like a guy seeking, well, real love."

REMIX: BOYS NOIZE - WHAT YOU WANT (CHROMEO REMIX)

Sometimes, all you need to make your day complete is a little bit of funk.  Chromeo is the best at bringing the funk!  They have remixed "What You Want" from Boys Noize, and if you listen closely enough you can here some Ghostbusters teases - the best!
