Happy Monday! I know we talk endlessly about Lovelife here at Beautiful Buzzz - but that's only because we have great taste and know a good thing when we hear it! Lovelife dazzled us the second half of 2012, earning top billing with single releases and EP releases, and they are one of our featured bands at our SXSW unofficial showcase FREE NOW! this year in Austin. Getting a glimpse into the party lifestyle of young bands always makes for a fun and adventurous video that is easy to watch, and leaves you wanting more. Australian indie pop band Glass Towers have a new video for recent single "Tonight" which combines multiple experiences of founding member and vocalist Benjamin Hannam's party antics while in high-school, which from the look of things was only about a year ago! Ahhhh...to be young and beautiful forever......
"Tonight" reflects the high energy indie dance pop style of Two Door Cinema Club, with a driving rhythm and bouncy frantic guitars that scoop you up and get you dancing. Australian indie pop bands have this ability to bring out the intensity of life through their songs, and Glass Towers are successfully achieving this kind of greatness......they are not fucking around! The band have toured with the likes of Dappled Cities, Loon Lake and Neil Finn’s Pajama Club, and are now ready to make their US debut this year at SXSW in Austin, TX! Dima snuck on stage without the band knowing their performance was being filmed. Reputante is a new band from New York. They are currently on their first American tour with Mercury Prize nominees, The Maccabees.

Tempers is a NYC-based post-punk/electronic duo comprised of Jasmine Golestaneh and Eddie Cooper. Jasmine, born in Florida, is of Latvian-Iranian descent, and grew up in Paris and London before moving to New York. She has recorded and performed as musician for most of her life and her visual art, primarily collage, has been shown in galleries throughout New York. Eddie is a NYC native who spent years in Berlin, where he released records on electronic labels like !K7 and Eskimo. The started playing as a band in 2011 and began recording songs almost immediately as part of their songwriting process. Following this debut, they have plans to release a full-length album later this year.

CommentI'm not sure why I love this band As Elephants Are so much.....maybe its the dreamy swirling melodies and fuzzy guitars, or maybe its Ben Stratford vocals that contain such depth and purpose... what whatever the reason, I am glad they push all the right buttons.... I love this band! As Elephants Are are getting ready to release their new single "Youth Blood" via Once Upon A Time Records on March 18 - but you can listen to it here now! Swoon!

New Manchester UK band No Ceremoney/// are ready to debut in Austin this year at SXSW - and to kick off the season they have remixed "Dark Again" by Australian electro rockers Gold Fields! And holy crap - they can't put out a bad track even it they tried, that's how amazingly awesome they are. When I first saw their tracks popping up on the indie music blogs a few years ago, I knew they were something special, and now they are really starting to take off!
