Operators is a combination of Dan Boecner (Wolf Parade, Handsome Furs, Divine Fits) with his Divine Fits bandmate Sam Brown (also of New Bomb Turks) and Devojka. Oh.....helllo, are you kidding?? This is like 00's indie rock mashup super group that only the extra cool kids growing up on the streets of Silver Lake talking about all the amazing music coming out of Canada would know about! I am currently working on booking this electronic & indie electro pop festival for later this year, and I really just want a whole day of nothing but Australian bands!! Beni has a new jam called "Project" that features vocals from Antony & Cleopatra. Brilliant! I've decided nothing but disco flavored music for the rest of the day after hearing this track! Bixel Boys have played 2 Beautiful Buzzz shows this year, and both were a balst! Even the one where it was raining like crazy and the streets of San Francisco were flooding - fuck the rain, we still had a party!! This track is sick - best thing to hit my ears all week!! Wildcat! for some time before that - we ran the mean streets of Los Angeles - just never together! It's all hi-fives and hugs with these boys now! They are pretty much the best thing ever! Their live shows are sick, only getting better, they are heading for domination!! Wildcat! Wildcat! have released a new single that is brilliant!! I have been waiting years for new music from my loves Art Vs Science, and over the past 6 months we are getting little glimmering insights into the brilliant minds of the Dmac, DanW and Jim, and the new music they are creating. I personally believe Art Vs Science is one of the best things to happen to modern music - 80's synth throwback with a modern dance floor foundation, not excluding shredding guitar solos, hot guys guzzling beer, and over the top theatrics. True rock stars!
Live??? Fucking forget about it!! Brain melting good - one of the best live shows I have ever experienced (Vancouver 2011)!! Use your fucking flippers to get down - there is nothing like Art Vs Science, and no one can even touch them .... can't even get close!! They are special!! "Parlez-Vous Francais" - are you kidding?? One of the best songs ever thought to be created!! "Magic Fountain" - 47 seconds into this masterpiece my life changed forever!! Let's not exclude the fact that they are 3 of the funniest, nicest most humble guys I have ever had the pleasure knowing. I need their faces ..... I need them now!!
