Happy 43rd anniversary to my awesome parents - I have no idea how you've kept it together and strong all these years!  We have been lazy with our Buzzz Box playlist, but that's all changing now kidos!  We have 20 fresh tracks for your listening pleasure this week that will definitely get you looking forward to your weekend adventures! RAINER + GRIMM - TALK TO ME FEAT. MELANIE

I'm such a sucker for amazing vocals and this being the first original single by Rainer + Grimm has me super stoked! Soo vibey, the Toronto duo have been on a tear this year crafting amazing remixes for the likes of our homie Bit Funk, Golden Coast, Zhu, Years and Years and others, but now they're off into original land with "Talk To Me." Vocal chops over the beat with a dreamy piano line brings us to Melanie's wonderfully longing vocals. "Why don't you talk to me? I'm just trying to feel the love again," she sings as the warm arpeggiated bass line bounces with xylophone hits on top. Great start for the guys, and I know we can expect more good things from here!

BLUR - SONG 2 (SAN HOLO REMIX)

Shut the front door! Ummmm ..... this delicious track just made my day! We have been keeping a close eye on San Holo lately; he is producing some pretty exciting things -- but this = amazing! I don't know about you guys,  but Blur is one of the bands that changed my world in the 90's - and "Song 2" had to be on everyone's top 90's song list, and is what brought them into the mainstream! Legends!  So when San Holo layers on his thick future trap feels, and that first drop .... dude I am reeling!  It's short and sweet, the perfect dose of bass to get you going!  Get that download HERE!  

[PREMIERE] SUNRISE (KISO REMIX)

Wake up and breathe in the fresh air! Kiso is bringing us on a wonderfully smooth and mellow journey with this record that is wholly representative of it's title "Sunrise." Perfect for a morning jog, revitalizing cup of joe, AM drive to work, whatever your morning routine, bump this jam and let your cares slip away. We're immediately brought into airy vocals almost tacitly moving us along into a warming dance chorus that is gloriously simple yet refined. By the second drop Kiso gives us a dreamy guitar line that further accents the fluidity of the tune. Sunrises are simple things; inherent beauties that are instantly understood and admired. Much in the same vein, this Kiso remix reminds us that some songs can be effortless to grasp, yet still powerful. This kind of simplicity is exactly what I need in my mornings before the complications of the busy day ahead. 

NIYKEE HEATON - INFINITY (ILLENIUM REMIX)

It's time to relax, most of the work day is over and I don't know about you guys, but I have been going non-stop! One of our favorite new discoveries this year has been Illenium - he's been dazzling us with some pretty sick remixes, originals, and colabs -- and his dramatic sexy future sound is everything we love! Today he sent over his latest remix of "Infinity" by Niykee Heaton which I am finding the perfect wind-down vibes in this one! Illenium has great style, and seems to capture the essence of this track, putting it into future feels that you and I can understand.  Free download y'all - get yours HERE!   

BOB MOSES - TEARING ME UP (SLAPTOP REMIX)

What do you get when you cross one our besties with one of our favorite new jams?  You get a tasty piece of dance music!  We love Slaptop so much, and he has been crushing this year with one amazing track after another!  His version of "Tearing Me Up" by Bob Moses is super sexy - combining the vibes of these two artists is perfection!  This is hot dance floor feels for days! NGHTMRE & BOOMBOX CARTEL - AFTERSHOCK (ORIGINAL MIX)

We're getting melodic and very hype this AM with this new NGHTMRE & Boombox Cartel collab. "Aftershock" starts off with a pensive piano intro with a longing vocal chop, but quickly turns it up with future bright synth explosions. Don't get too lulled into dreamland yet because then we get snapped into the real build. True to NGHTMRE form this track gets HUGE with a trappy glitchy drop that swipes you up in the air and then pounds you back down to earth. You're relieved back into the Boombox Style piano riff from the beginning, and the song takes on its full shape. Equal parts melodic and grungy this track is blissfully heavy. Just the kind of excellence we would expect from a collaboration of this magnitude. OH and it's that FREE DL homies!    

ANDERSON .PAAK - AM I WRONG (FT. SCHOOLBOY Q)

Pardon me while I geek out like a 70's disco DJ for second. All the kool kids get down with this record right here! We've got a discolicious, super satisfying soul selection to fill your brain with wavy flames of collaboration perfection! You still with me ha ha?? Ok I'm done, but let me start to fire off this amazing list of artists involved with this track. First off Anderson .Paak has been quickly building a serious following over the last few months collaborating with the likes of Kaytranada and more. Then we have Schoolboy Q and Omarion lending some big time vocal heavy hitting, BUT WAIT there's more. On the production side we have a Beautiful Buzzz regular POMO ripping the beat, and our recent faves Brasstracks lending their horns at the end. The result is a magical musical cocktail that goes down soo smooth. Gotta love a collaboration of this magnitude!
