THE WALKING STICKS - THE NEWS

I'm excited to introduce another Beautiful Buzzz newcomer The Walking Sticks! This DC trio has released a fantastic new indie dance and pop tune "The News" through LA label Play Me. This track starts off small and filtered with atmospheric sounds, but quickly grows into the first verse with a vibrating synth bass hit that slams almost as hard as Chelsea the singer's penetrating vocals. Her voice has a wonderful quality that I would compare to the likes of Florence Welch. The chorus rings out with drive and passion, it's catchy yet refined and full of power. There's a lot happening in the music, I hear melodic synth work and guitar all combining to entreat us to get up and move! The track is available here starting today on iTunes and all other digital music retailers.

YATES - VIRTUE (PLASTIC PLATES REMIX)

The last 7 days have been nothing less than dramatic, and now that we are all gearing up for our weekend ragers, I feel like dropping into that sexy deep groove that only Plastic Plates can provide. Having this little Aussie muffin in my life has been incredible; he's become somewhat of a big brother figure -- we seem to find all kinds of trouble on our adventures, long conversations about our woes, lots of laughs and he teases me relentlessly.  All signs of a true friend and a great supporter -- hard to find these days! How lucky am I that he also inspires me with his unwavering talent, producing one fantastic deep disco house track after another. As much as I want to complain about my terrible week, knowing this one is in the world and that he loves me, I feel pretty OK about life.  You guys should share this track -- it's brilliant! Let's forget the fact that a few months back I made one of these SoCal producers stand outside a LA club at one of our Take 2 Entertainment shows because he was not on the list. Not a very smooth move for a promoter, but how was I to know this sweet guy who was totally understanding my lack of list names was in-fact 1/2 of brilliant production duo Tasty Treat! Oopsie!  We got it cleared up and hugged it out - so this premiere makes me very happy -- a way to make it up to him! This week kicks off the release of Hebinomichi Vol. 3 which features 15 tracks by various artists from the collective, and we're bringing you a Tasty Treat original "Get Creative." Anyone in the mood for some disco house summertime vibes? We got you! Our next premiere is from our boy Instrum, our second one this year from young New Orleans based producer. I guess you can say we can't get enough of this legend, and rightly so! His version of "We All Fall Down" by A-Trak brings the discolicious dance floor heat! Energy level on 10 right here! PRINCE FOX - I DON'T WANNA LOVE YOU (FT. MELODY NOEL)

IT'S HERE! This track is so huge and so much fire that I'm pretty sure it's officially the jam of the year! Our bestie Prince Fox has just crushed the future vibes dance track game! "I Don't Wanna Love You ft. Melody Noel" is everything that is good in the world - strong soulful vocals over big bass beats and future pop feels! I am over the moon with all these feels!! Earlier this year I received a text from Prince Fox while he was flying to SF to play a Beautiful Buzzz show, and he told me he could not wait to play me something new, and he jokingly said I would love it so much I might cry but that he would hold me!  Haha! He was right! This New York producer coming into my life this year has been magical -- I can't wait for what's to come! This one is available Nov 20th via Casablanca Records//Republic Records!! 

YESYOU - BE MINE

I mean, I could go on and on and on about how much I love Aussie electro duo YesYou, and that we have been huge supporters for years at Beautiful Buzzz - we just caught on early and never really let go! However, all you actually need to hear is this track! The music speaks for itself.  "Be Mine" is a beat heavy jam that pulls from deep house and pop vibes. I even get a slight  Moby feeling being channeled here! Brilliant, as usual! I love you YesYou! Look for their debut album to drop in 2016! 

KINGDM - CAN'T GET OVER YOU

Ohh it's been a funky kind of day for me, ha ha both musically and in real life. Seems like weird stuff has been happening today, so I'm happy that I'm at home now listening to tunes. I'm a huge fan of all the groovy, soulful, funky fresh dance music coming out the last couple years and today I'm super excited to introduce to you a brand new London and LA based duo KINGDM! This being their first track ever released, I'm pumped that I'm getting on board early. This tune starts with bouncy piano, claps, kick and some incredible vocals. As the chorus hits we feel the groovy bass lift us into flight with catchy falsetto vocals leading the charge and tuned back up vocals filling in the rest. Don't know much about these guys yet at this point, but the music is fire!
