MANILA KILLA - ALL THAT'S LEFT FT. JONI FATORA (THE M MACHINE REMIX)

Music, RemixEricComment

Yay! I'm definitely excited to see the "All That's Left" remix EP dropping today with some awesome reinventions of Manila Killa's breakout hit. Moving Castle studs Young Wall Street and TJANI provided diverse reworks as well as Myles Travitz, but I'm definitely going to give the nod to one of my favorite electronic artists The M Machine. The M Machine guys just have an uncanny ability to intellectually challenge the musical status quo while making tracks that are sooo sonically robust and well produced. Not to mention how they went wayy into left field in a good way with this remix. It doesn't even hardly resemble the original track, but has moments of greatness especially for me with the melody that hits a minute in and finishes it off at the 6 minute mark. We've come to expect nothing less from The M Machine and it seems like they deliver every freaking time!

RAIN MAN - BRING BACK THE SUMMER FT. OLY (INSTRUM REMIX)

Music, RemixEricComment

Ah yes touched down in SF a couple hours ago. VVVV excited for our sold out show with Goldroom tonight! In the mean time I wanted to throw some more love to our homie Instrum who's ventured into future bass land with his new remix of Rain Man's "Bring Back the Summer featuring Oly. My favorite part of this track surprisingly starts 4 minutes in. Instrum does his best Chet Porter impression on the outro and it's killer. Whimsical with bells, horns and percussion that just puts a smile on my face. You can also vote for this track here to help Instrum get released on Dim Mak.

Music, Remix, Original Mix, MixtapeErin MaherComment

BOOM! Can I just say that this individual coming into my life this year has been so ficking awesome - like for real! It's only April and already we've had multiple hangs and super fun adventures with this Denver based producer SteLouse, and he's just brilliant! His tracks .... sick! His live sets .... sick! He keep blowing me away with this unbreakable talent and sweet disposition ... we just get each other! Tomorrow night SteLouse is gonna crush with Prince Fox at the Closed Sessions party in DC - if you are in that area I highly suggest getting out to this show! Our boy SteLouse made a little mix for our Closed Sessions homies - I suggest you get into this one!

LIDO - CRAZY

Music, Original MixErin MaherComment

When Lido dropped the video for this track yesterday, my FB feed was full of all my industry homies sharing the link and saying things like "we're all inferior" or "we're not worthy" and I think I am gonna have to agree with the masses on this one. With sexy future beats filled with R&B vibes and big bass tribal like beats - this is hands down one of the best tracks of the year thus far! Lido has set the bar high y'all - I'm swooning!

LE YOUTH - BOOMERANG (FT. TAY BECKHAM)

Music, Original MixErin MaherComment

Anyday my BFF Le Youth releases a new track is always the best day ever - so even tho it's early and I've only been awake for 10 minutes, I'm beaming with joy! Me and this little muffin have been through it together - watching each other grow and giving love and support along the way, and I think he's one of the most talented and amazing humans on the planet!  It's been a minute since we've heard a new original from this Los Angeles producer, and this new funky disco track "Boomerang ft. Tay Beckham" has a bright and bouncy groove with that signature Le Youth flavor. This one is going to set that dance floor on fire! Start the day off right and get your groove on, grab a free download HERE!

[NEW TOUR] JERRY FOLK - NORTH AMERICA TOUR

Music, Tour, Original MixErin MaherComment

Another amazing tour announcement, BB is getting behind all the dope shit lately ... we don't mind tho....  I was lucky to see the Jerry Folk US debut a few months back in San Francisco, so supporting this tour is a bonus as far as I am concerned!  On his first North American tour he'll be hitting Coachella as well as a few dates in Canada - pretty exciting! To celebrate this tour announcement, Jerry Folk also dropped a delicious new track "Been A While" (featured above) that is so sexy it brings sexy back and then takes it away again! Boom!  Check dates below and swoop on them tickets!

NAWAS - SO LOW

Music, Original MixEricComment

Admittedly I'm a huge sucker for pop melodies and familiar chord progressions, however I also love hearing new music with some serious edge to it. Let us introduce you to NAWAS. Now based in Nashville, NAWAS has delivered a dark indie pop, sort of R&B/soulful sounding record that has a rich instrumental and even some rapping. The deep lyrical content puts an intellectual microscope to the record, further expanding it's appeal. According to Jake Nawas the song is "about discovering life on a higher plan of existence and how the pathway to enlightenment may affect one's relationship with God." Sounds existential ha ha, but I'll keep things simple and state that this is just a dope track!

BRYCE FOX - HORNS

Music, Original MixEricComment

Damn this new track from the foxy beast himself Bryce Fox is getting us at BB all kinds of horny. Fitting name for such a devilishly good blues rock record that bites with sharp teeth and enters your mind with an ear-worm chorus hook that's more infectious than the zika virus...Whatt?? too soon for the zika reference? Yeah maybe, but regardless if you're not up on this Bryce Fox train yet you better hop on board fast. I had the opportunity to go and see his debut live show Monday night and damn I'm super excited for this stud. If you haven't had a chance to hear his breakout single "Burn Fast" or the amazing remixes that have come from it, then you haven't been paying attention. Now this being his second incredible single and it seems something of a movement is developing. If Bryce continues to keep the heat up this high, I think we'll be seeing some major moves coming real soon.
