[PREMIERE] STEPHEN - CROSSFIRE (SUMMITSCAPE REMIX)

SummitScape has made a name fore themselves putting together some slick remixes for the likes of Galantis, The Killers and a Betty Who remix we previously featured. Well now they've returned with a sick, bassy remix of one of our favorite rising artists right now Stephen. "Crossfire" is a catharsis of emotion and SummitScape's remix is totally on point. The record starts appropriately mellow eventually building into a bright drop with an expressive blaring synth line that's tight af. Unfortunately we just heard some bad news that the SummitScape boys are splitting up citing an all too well known reason: artistic differences. At BB we've seen our fair share of duos head their separate ways and we always want to wish them the best of luck! Writing music together can be a challenging ordeal and sometimes pursuing other avenues is the best option. We've been informed that Harry has already chosen to re-brand as Thoreau. and has done so with SummitScape's former soundcloud page. We'll be looking out for the new Thoreau. music as it hits our inbox, but until then enjoy SummitScape's last release!

Swedish producer and one of our besties Oliver Nelson released a killer remix of "The Alarm" by Anne-Marie yesterday. When you open a PR email and they tell you someone told them I was a huge Illenium fan - at least I know people are are telling truths about me! I can't hide it - I am a big nerdy Illenium fan!  I have been known to send messages to him in the dark hours while being slightly intoxicated ... but we were in the same city and I was looking for him! That was our show in SF last month that we SOLD OUT .... but then I also had a sunset boat party that day so I missed Illenium. He sold out almost all this shows on his last tour ... pretty impressive! Now young Virtu, a delicious producer from Los Angeles, has put his spin on "Sleepwalker" by Illenium .... and it's totally futurific. SO many feels here kids .... I'm swooning again! VÉRITÉ is pretty much one of my favorite indie pop bands from the past few years - I just love them so much and I think her voice is so so so amazing! So, when Australian outfit Mansionair released this new remix of "Constant Crush" a few days back I was psyched! Ohh it's always a happy Friday when our double dub homies Win & Woo release something new, and we're spun into a fury of excitement when it also involves one of our faves and Get Buzzzed alumni XYLØ! This is a match made in every kind of heaven. Win & Woo have been steadily crushing with release after release and "L.A. Love Song" is a perfect record to dive us into summer.
