OFELIA K - KILLING ME

Pretty sure I have just decided Ofelia K is my new girl crush ... all her tracks are the bee's knees I can't stop with her! She just gets me. Maybe it's because I mostly post tracks from producers who are men, that when I get a pop song from the female perspective it just clicks. It's like she writes songs for me - her vibe and overall attitude ... she just gets me. Her new track "Killing Me" is out tomorrow via South By Sea Music, and it's pop perfection. [PREMIERE] PJU FT. JAVI - COMING BACK (TOBTOK REMIX)

I have this habit of totally falling for Swedes - they seem to be everywhere in my life over the past decade and some of the best friends I have ever made live in that beautiful country. When I started hearing tracks from this Swedish producer a few years back, my first thought was how was it possible a Swede was producing such great disco - I thought it was all about the metal! Not for my sweet friend Tobtok ... he feels that 4 on the floor disco vibe hard and has continued to crush all the music he puts into the world. Last month Tobtok and I finally met in person and well ... we had a wild night of dancing and laughing ... safe to say we are bonded BFF's for life now. So, today's premiere is extra special - and totally delicious! Tobtok delivers a smooth disco house remix of "Coming Back ft. Javi" by PJU that is bright and bouncy dance floor fire. Once again ... crushing! Get into this one kids! 

MAJOR LAZER - COLD WATER (JUPE REMIX FT. GIANTSPIRIT)

You won't learn much about this young producer through socials or on the interweb - he's taking the anonymous rout - so this means he/she is producing under multiple names, or they want you to think they are, etc. etc. Just the other week I was hangin out with a certain producer and he tells me he is also another producer - one I have actually blogged about in the past and I didn't even know it. I digress - Jupe is pretty much the shit and now I am wondering if he's already someone we know! We've seen him drop some awesome mixes with our homies, and was featured on the last Hebinomichi compilation .... so he's running with the right crew! AMTRAC - RUNNING AFTER

I love Amtrac - he's such an awesome dude and crushes music consistently, production and live he's pretty much the complete package. This week he's released a new track "Running After" that is pure deep house perfection - that cool and sexy vibe that he creates always seems to take me to my happy place! This one is dance floor fire and will be on his upcoming EP out August 5. OMG a new K?d remix and I'm totally bananas over it - shocking!! It's like every two weeks I get my own personal party in the BB office from this young producer - he's just crushing all things and I'm into it! MEDASIN - DAYDREAM (FT. JOBA)

This could not get more summer jam vibes if it tried. Medasin has just topped everyone this summer for the most laid back groove and I don't see anyone recovering. Medasin wins - I'm officially hooked and might also be in love! It's hard to believe this yung producer found this much soul in Dallas, but I guess it's all about the state of mind. "Daydream" is full of deep soulful easy grooves under fresh vocals from Joba .... really tho all my cares have just disappeared. Press play and get alllll the feels!  

CADE - ESCAPE

Here's something delicious and all sparkly and new that I think y'all will love! This Tampa born LA livin' youngster Cade has won me over with his debut EP Care featuring this track "Escape." This singer/songwriter/producer hands us a fantastic electro-pop dance floor ready groove with funky beats and soulful vocals that could give the Biebs a run for his money. Oh yea he's 19 and makes me feel like a dirty old lady because he's so so dreamy! Swoon! The Care EP is available now via Spinnin' Records and you can swoop that bad boy HERE!    

SELAH SUE - FEAR NOTHING (KULKID REMIX)

Kulkid gives me all the feels - I mean his tracks are always tops and not gonna lie, he's kinda dreamy. I may have mentioned this dreaminess on past Kulkid posts, I can't remember and it's too early to care, it's truth tho. One thing I never get mad about this funny industry I work is being surrounded by big talent and dreamy boys! Swoon! A few days back Kulkid dropped this rad remix of "Fear Nothing" by Selah Sue - an epic sounding dance anthem which he created as an outro for his live shows. Works for me! Start your Wednesday off right and get into this one! 

MATT DIMONA - MALIBUU (FEAT. LANI RENALDO) + UP ALL NIGHT EP

Matt DiMona is the man! Erin and I had such a good time hanging with him at our show when he opened for Goldroom last April. He told us about this EP being in the works back then, and damn are we stoked that it's arrival is finally here! I really like the whole 'Up All Night' EP especially "Touch" and "The Universe We Dreamt," but I've chosen "Malibuu (feat. Lani Renaldo)" as the one to support mainly due to it's more mainstream pop appeal. Not to mention all the Cali references : ). The song is simple and refined. It doesn't reach too far outside of the box mainly relying on the background pads and comforting vocal performances by Matt and Lani to lead the way. There are splashes of rising arps and other sounds that help accent the endearing nature of the track.
