I love it when Louis Futon gets dirty. As one of my favorite producers over the past few years, I have seen this Philly producer get nasty with this low end, and it's pretty much the best thing ever! He's been putting out a bunch of really great flips lately, and last week he dropped this super sexy remix of "U Rite" by THEY. Happy Mother's day to all the mommy's out there! Today I'm hanging out with my family, and it's a beautiful day in Northern California! Birds are chirping, the sun is shining, and my Mom is currently head bobbing to this new NGHTMRE track and I think it's hilarious. She's definitely not a hip-hop fan, but she has good taste and when she hears a beat she likes she'll do some booty shakin' for sure! Our boy NGHTMRE got his hands on "Lean Back" by Terror Squad and flipped it into this delicious Trap dance floor heater - and hey .... if it can get my mom boppin' around then it has to be good!

It's nice to see our yung friend BKAYE making all the moves! He's just dropped a new remix of "Congratulations" by Post Malone that is making me feel some kind of way! Teaming up with TELYKast, these emerging artist bring that sexy chill future beats groove that gives you the feels is all the right ways. BKAYE has crushed all the Beautiful Buzzz records with having over 300k streams on his Buzzzmix Vol. 33 (stream HERE) and it has been the most download mix we have ever hosted! WOW! STEPHEN - CROSSFIRE, PART III (FEAT. SABA, RAVYN LENAE, THE O'MY'S & J.P. FLOYD)

Okay so Stephen is one of my all-time favorites. The LA-based artist has 100% blown me away with everything he’s done and to see him collaborating with a whole crew of artists from my home town of Chicago is so cool. Hell, I’ve fucked with Saba since way before his collabs with Chance back when my college’s student-run record label released a compilation featuring him on multiple tracks. If you know Chicago music, you know The O’My’s have been killing it around the Windy City for a hot minute, and while I’m unfamiliar with Ravyn Lenae and J.P. Floyd, they both bring something incredible to this collab, Lenae with her silky pipes and Floyd with the badass brass swagger. All in all, while turning a track into a trilogy could be seen by some as a lazy move creatively or that he’s “milking” the hit, I for one am not at all mad that Crossfire has turned into it’s own little movement. The song’s message, supported by the powerful track artwork, also speaks to the violence that’s continually prevalent in Chicago’s South and West Side neighborhoods and the difficulties local children face growing up there that much of us can’t even imagine. I’ve been told 15 percent of all earnings from this record are going to Young Chicago Authors, a creative after school program serving 10,000 youths per year.The only thing better than dope music is dope music with a meaningful message.

Happy Friday! Sorry friends, I am way behind with life it seems! Sometimes I think I can do it all, then I remember I'm just a girl with a blog and a full time day job where I play DJ Monopoly buying for parties, clubs and festivals all day .... rough! This week we announced our full line-up for our SXSW party Get Buzzzed, and this legend Alexander Lewis will be dropping some sick jams ... like this new remix of "Murder" buy Lido. He teamed up with the homie Y2K to drop some serious bass vibes filled with soulful future flavor - it's so fuckin' good! I mean .... we already know ZHU crushed all our lives a few years ago. Now he's like ... oh, let me crush you again by remixing"Bad and Boujee" by Migos - dropping this siiiick ass track like it don't mean a thing! BOOM!
