MAT ZO- 5 HOURS EXTENDED MIX

I don’t know about you but I’m ready to move this weekend! While half my friends are experiencing the post Coachella blues, the other half just started the pre-Coachella hype. Whether you’re leaving the desert or heading into it, you’re going to need music for the voyage. Lucky for you, our man Mat Zo has you covered with his recently released 5-hour extended mix, courtesy of Mad Zoo. Making big noise from his early drum and bass productions, to his Grammy nominated album, Zo has shown us there’s not much he can’t put down on the decks. This mix comes in preparation for his 5-hour extended set at Output in Brooklyn May 4th. Thank the music gods and add this to the queue.

OUT CAME THE WOLVES - 96 (MIELO REMIX)

Ever wanted to hear your dream combo of emo and electronic music? Well I have. Chicago-based artist Mielo brings on the nostalgia of the old school screamo and punk music glory days with his brand new remix of “96” by Out Came The Wolves. His brilliant harmonies intertwine almost effortlessly with OCTW’s chords, creating an amalgamation that is nothing short of addicting. With this year’s Warped Tour right around the corner, we couldn't have asked for this track to come at a better time. 

ELI WAY - PAPERCUT (FEAT. CEHRYL)

Eli Way is a groovemaster. If you haven't yet heard of him, get hip to the program! The Chicago-based producer has a knack for crafting jazzy, vibey tunes which pair classical stylings with modern production sensibilities. His latest number “Papercut” features previous collaborator Cehryl, who also lent her smooth vocals to “If It Makes You Happy” and arrives via uber-hip tastemaker label Majestic Casual Records. Perfect for a lazy afternoon relaxing in the shade, this jam is sure to please existing Eli Way fans and will also serve as a welcome introduction to new ears who haven’t yet discovered his talent.

WOLFGANG GARTNER - CHING CHING

The weekend is here and I am feeling frisky this AM! I am all about the feel good vibes for this morning's dance party - which is why a new track "Ching Ching" from electro-house legend Wolfgang Gartner is crushing my headphones. The disco feels in this one are pure fire! Grab your dancing shoes because this one will make you shake that bootay! You can swoop it HERE!

MELVV - BABE FT. MAVI PHOENIX

I'm not 100% sure why ... but I always totally nerd out over Melvv. On the day we met when I brought him out to CA for his first LA show, I threw my arms around him and squeezed ... and never let go.  I love this kid .... and I love supporting all the things he's doing! He recently dropped Stress Relief EP, and announced a headlining tour which you can check out dates HERE! A few days back he released a new single "Babe ft. Mavi Phoenix" that I am loving! It's fun and playful bouncy rhythm under solid R&B vocals is a perfect summertime jam. Hi-fives yung Melvv! You guys can swoop this one HERE!

BEARSON - GO TO SLEEP FT. KAILEE MORGUE

We all have bad weeks, and Murphy's Law is currently turning me on my head ... but we're lucky because we also have music which makes things instantly better. My sweet friend Bearson always gives me that good feeling, his vibes are always uplifting and put a smile on my face. He'll be dropping a bunch of new music in the weeks to come, and I'll be showing you every one! "Go To Sleep ft. Kailee Morgue" is a delicious future pop gem that has that summertime groove shining through! With smooth beats and sweet vocals .... this dreamlike dance track has made my day!  

DJ SLIINK - TEXT UR NUMBER (REMIX) FT. (FETTY WAP + DJ ENVY)

Born and raised in Jersey, I have to admit- there’s nothing I love more than a good ol’, quality Jersey Club record. That said, it was only natural that when I was passed along the legendary DJ Sliink’s latest release, I couldn’t resist sharing its Jersey club greatness with all of you.

Those who are dedicated Fetty Wap fans (like myself) are most likely familiar with his 2017 jaunty single “Text Ur Number,” which had previously credited The Breakfast Club's DJ Envy and Sliink with its initial release. But interestingly enough, the rendition I'm posting here is not a "remix" fundamentally. Rather, this is what was supposed to be the original production of ”Text Ur Number.” But of course, radio couldn’t handle the quick-tempo vocal chops and bouncy, blood-pumping beat behind the latter and put out something that was more “radio-friendly” instead. All I have to say is, I am much more than thankful this OG version was revealed.

[PREMIERE] CHINA ROSES - PIEDATERRES

Combining elements of hip-hop, electro-pop, and femme musicianship, Aussie’s own China Roses is creating a genre all their own. Their latest release, “Piedaterres” is an intellectual, musically effervescent piece righteously saturated with feminine energy. Seductive vocals complement a house-esque production that fearlessly enter the bloodstream, possessing the listener with a signature sound. A full metamorphosis unfolds as the track reveals itself, as the twosome works in synchronicity to create a story with instruments, both internal and external. This blossoming track is both introspective and thrilling, putting China Roses on the map and fossilizing their swift come-up in the ever-changing music industry.

LMBO - DYSPHORIA

Manipulating an accurately self-proclaimed genre of vibes, LMBO strikes once again with their original track, “Dysphoria.” The twosome carries the burden of collaborating cross-country, while one member hustles in New Orleans, Louisiana and the other is a prominent member of the Michigan music scene. Despite the distance, the duo is equally as formidable as outfits who work closely together. Their latest release is a striking piece- gentle, yet simultaneously brooding and saturated with a fluid rhythm. Gentle melodies complement a breathy, house-oriented cadence that cascade upon crisp, full-bodied vocal chord progressions. This framework of cross-genre fixtures work not only as a musical piece, but a proper work of art. "Dysphoria” is set to be a breakout single for the ever-so-unique LMBO, fossilizing their imprint as one of the most exciting acts to watch this year.
