I am so glad this week is coming to an end! For real, I've been on the struggle bus for days and days ... it's time to kick back and slide into this weekend with the freshest jams! Pretty sure I've found the ultimate track to set the tone with the latest release from our friends over at Moving Castle. BAZZI - BEAUTIFUL (STAYGOLD REMIX)

Electronic duo Staygold is proving their selves worthy of their name with their latest release, a remix of Bazzi’s original piece, “Beautiful,” and we can confirm that it is absolutely gold. Taking the ballad and injecting it with their own signature flavor, the song transforms into a dance floor hit. Staygold’s rendition oozes with upbeat, rich melodies, energizing build ups and a plethora of beats that are nearly impossible to sit still to. All of these elements are molded around Bazzi’s bewitching lyrics and soothing vocals, conclusively forming an amalgamation that is irresistible to the ear. Just take a listen for yourself.

KAIVON - CANT KEEP LOVING (FT. STELLA SMYTH) + DEBUT LIVE SHOW

A number of people have been whispering sweet nothings about this new young producer KAIVON, in fact his agent event went so far as to tell me I would love his dreamy hair haha! When this kind of talk starts, I pay attention because we could be looking at the next festival headliner .... it's happens all the time and we get to say we knew him way back when!  That being said, KAIVON needs to get his first live show under his belt before all that, and if you're in the Bay Area you can experience this first hand!  This Los Angeles producer hits the stage for the FIRST time this Friday at Soulstice Festival - and with this line-up who can resist?  You guys can swoop tickets below - I know I'm gonna be there - you should too!  Also, check out his most recent track "Can't Keep Loving ft. [NEW SHOW] BREAKBOT (DJ SET) & IRFANE // OCTOBER 13 // SAN FRANCISCO

3 years ago, I threw my first party at Mezzanine in San Francisco. It was my first time bringing a Beautiful Buzzz show into a room of this large capacity and I was so nervous! I sold out that show weeks in advance, it was the best feeling in the world, and it was with Ed Banger legend .... Breakbot! Fast forward to today, I am now in-house talent buyer at Mezzanine, and we'll be reuniting with Breakbot once again for a huge dance party.  I'm not so nervous this time around ... just super excited! This French producer's sets are next level, seriously! Tickets are on sale now and if you are in the Bay Area, I highly suggest you grab yours ASAP ... because I plan on selling this one out again!  

ANJULIE & PUSHER - ALL WE CAN DO

Using their platforms for power, addressing highly sensitive social issues with a sense of fearlessness, Pusher and Anjulie unveil "All We Can Do." Tackling U.S gun violence with an electro-pop resonance, the producer/vocalist synergy is strong here. Defined by an optimistic energy, its mantra yields an important message. Anjulie's classically soulful vocals radiate in-sync with Pusher's signature, effervescent production. Making revolutions sound like champagne, "All We Can Do" is a bold statement for the EDM community, proving that dance music is a force with a paramount impact. 

DAKTYL - OSCILLATE FT. JANELLE KROLL

With beautiful, sweltering weather FINALLY reaching us, there's no better way to make the most of it than by pairing it with music that makes us feel good. Thankfully we were sent this new piece of gold from Counter Records-signed artist Daktyl. "Oscillate" features the sweet, modulated vocals of singer/songwriter Janelle Kroll that fall right into place with Daktyl's easy-going  production. Pulling from several genres for this one- future, funk and indie, the combination of elements from the 3 results in what I'd like to call a superb recipe for greatness. Just take a listen and you'll know exactly what I mean.

[PREMIERE] ABRAHAM TILBURY - OCEAN (FEAT. DIEMNE)

Australian label Mammal Sounds Records is on an upward trajectory of noteworthy success. Despite only having a few releases under their belt, each track is an epic unveiling of brilliant sounds and musical ideas. Their freshest release is a curtain call for the Australian jack of all trades, Abraham Tilbury. “Ocean” boasts a feature from Melbourne rapper Diemne- a fantastic collaboration that gives rise to a new age of hip-hop. While electronic music and hip-hop are often seen as polar genres, their diverging cadences are inherently dependent on each other. Like and yin and yang, Abraham Tilbury and Diemne combine Lo-Fi, electronic production with sultry verses and shadowy vocals. Smokey and riddled with an acute swagger, “Ocean” is a testament to the future of hip-hop. Slacken your senses and get deep with this easy joint- you’d be a lot cooler if you did. This young up-and-comer Alex Lustig has all the vibes with this latest track "If You Wanna ft. Ayelle" which we are loving. He's been on our radar lately with his sleek grooves and R&B feels, and this track is extra sexy with them vocals from Ayelle. Alex Lustig just might be the next big thing ... get into this one kids!
