With a cool 888k subscribers on their heavily-trafficked YouTube channel that produces original relatable-gamer content, the Grumbae project is quickly shaping up to be more than just memes and streams. The track comes at the heels of their 2019 Proximity-signed single “Nowhere To Go.” Another charming gem from the digital renaissance figures, “Waking Up” also features singer/songwriter Carly Paige. Like a yin and yang, Grumabe co-exists gracefully with Paige’s crystal-cool vocal instrument.
