Austin based Cloudchord has consistently climbed the Hype Machine charts with almost all of his releases and I have not doubt his latest "Forever For Now (feat. Furious)" will spark up the chart as well. This original is tantalizing to the senses will all sorts of yummy electronic goodness. Smatterings of rhodes piano, bright melodic arps and sighing moving synths fill up the instrumental with smooth percussions and of course the signature Cloudchord guitar riffs. Furious' terrific vocals are simply the icing on this luscious cake. I seriously have not heard a Cloudchord release that I haven't absolutely loved. Well I'm back in the swing of things still missing/remembering/recovering from the epic week we had in Austin at SXSW. To my delight Austin's Cloudchord, who graciously performed an incredible set on our stage Friday night with booming thunderclouds over head, sent over this epic remix of Ember Island's voluptuous single "Need You." Cloudchord delivers a beautifully melodic rendition of the track involving his signature guitar and pumping bass lines that envelope Ember Island's chilled out vocals. Just loving this tune.
