Since March, we’ve awaited Detroit Swindle’s new album, “High Life.” This release comes as the second full-length album for the Dutch duo since 2014. As devoted record collectors, Dales and Smeets maintain a DJ style that is one-off and eclectic, reflecting their love for many eras. The sixth track of the album, “Flavourism” features a collaboration with gospel-trained singer, Seven Davis Jr. incorporating stripped down, house driven grooves. Dale and Smeets describe this album as “combining our love for house, ambient and jazzy harmonics.” Whether it’s classic house, obscure disco, or funk- they bring it, work it, and mix it up.

BRIDGE GUY- CLAV IT YOUR WAY
Beautiful Buzzz SelectsCommentWho doesn’t love Berlin? It’s unlike anywhere in the world for parties that don’t stop and dance floors that never sleep. It draws the crowd of residents and visitors alike, for obvious reason… THE MUSIC. Once again, the artists have not disappointed. Bridge Guy returns courtesy of Berlin Bass Collective with a dreamy two-track release from his EP, Neukolin CLAV. The first track of the EP, “CLAV it your way” incorporates playful, house-oriented beats with groovy chords, and evocative vocals for a brighter- more disco influenced sound. This lovely release speaks for itself, offering the perfect feel for any afterhour to keep the party going and the people bouncing!
