MELVV - BABE FT. MAVI PHOENIX

I'm not 100% sure why ... but I always totally nerd out over Melvv. On the day we met when I brought him out to CA for his first LA show, I threw my arms around him and squeezed ... and never let go.  I love this kid .... and I love supporting all the things he's doing! He recently dropped Stress Relief EP, and announced a headlining tour which you can check out dates HERE! A few days back he released a new single "Babe ft. Mavi Phoenix" that I am loving! It's fun and playful bouncy rhythm under solid R&B vocals is a perfect summertime jam. Hi-fives yung Melvv! You guys can swoop this one HERE!

MØ - NIGHTS WITH YOU (MELVV REMIX)

Oh yung Melvv - honestly every time I talk about this rising star I end up gushing .... always have since I first booked him for an LA pool party two years ago and I guess I always will. He's making big moves once again .... recently signing a big fancy record deal, and now dropping an official remix of "Nights With You" by MØ. I am so happy for Melvv ... gushing! This remix has that fun bouncy summertime vibe with super sultry vocals over future beats. Does not get much better than this! Massive love to you kido! You guys can grab a free download HERE!   

MELVV - WHAT IF EVERYTHING'S NOT EVERYTHING

Well - what can I say here that we all don't already know? Lido is crushing all things, and since he dropped his album Everything last week we've been listening to nothing else! So when yung Melvv passed me this track, I knew we were all in for something special! This Milwaukee producer spent 6 days locked in his room putting together "What If Everything's Not Everything" -- a 10 minute remix that includes all 11 songs from Lido's new album. Wow! All you can really do now is just listen! Bananas good! 

MELVV & MOONZZ - GOODBYE

I can't believe it's already been over a year since I got to meet the yung startup Melvv in his first LA performance. Flash forward, the future is looking real bright for the teenage Milwaukee born beat maker with this incredible collab with one of our faves MOONZz. "Goodbye" is full of earworms with the "ah ah ah's" providing much of the skeleton of the tune. The chorus has quick thumping synth flashes melodically mirroring the vocals. We've always talked about making a move into NY, and now that time has come! Good Friday is already an established 18+ party, so we're coming in to work hand in hand with Booking Coordinator & Electronic Curator Matthew Classens to put together some amazing nights filled with the best/cutting edge artists electronic music has to offer. My young friend Melvv and I have many of the same feels - there may be a 20 year age difference between us, but that has not stopped the bonding over all things awesome when music is in the mix. Melvv delivers a massive flip of "Wall Fuck" by Flume (aka my boyfriend) that's pretty fucking great! We are all kinds of bananas over Flume, most of the world is actually, and mad respect to Melvv for crushing this one!

Nothing makes us happier than to see young Melvv making big moves - so BB has decided to get behind our homie and support his upcoming spring tour! Over the past year this teenage bedroom producer has been crushing the game, and watching him do so have been so much fun! Oh snap! One thing we love more than anything is when we get a super dank surprise remix from a BB homie, and look what just happened! Our boy Melvv just crushed this new one - he put his spin on "Back It Up" by Alison Wonderland x AWE that is so on point! Melvv's sound is evolving into so many brilliant new levels - I think this past year with all the moves he's making, the bigger shows and exposure to all things, he's growing and it shows in his music! BUZZZMIX VOL. 20 - MELVV

The next Buzzzmix has arrived, and this one is pretty special!  When me met Melvv last year, he was talking about going to his senior prom, graduating high-school, and starting to make waves with his original tracks and remixes on the interweb.  When we did a very last minute premiere of his incredible remix of "Midnight Moon" by Oh Wonder (which is included in this Buzzzmix) - I knew Melvv was something special -- so I started telling everyone I knew about this teenage bedroom producer who I believed was going to do great things!  Almost a year later and over one million plays on that remix alone - Melvv is moving into the next phase of greatness - fancy management, fancy agent, and playing dates with the likes of Louis The Child, Autograf, Trippy Turtle, Jai Wolf plus some big things we can't talk about just yet!  WOW!  We have that ultimate feels kind of  bond with Melvv now, and his place in the BB fam will always be held with highest regard .... we love him V much!  You can grab a free download of Buzzzmix Vol. 20 HERE!
