[PREMIERE] XYLØ - GET CLOSER (SHADES REMIX)

I feel like I am perpetually one hour late to all things! I can't help it, I get involved in something, most of the time it's work, and all of a sudden I'm late to the party. This morning I am already late for work and I am late getting to this premiere! Granted I was watching our new President take office ... but I digress! What I'm not late on is knowing the greatness of XYLØ, we've been huge fans for a minute, and they played our SXSW party last year. Today's premiere comes from fresh NYC production duo Shades - their dance pop remix of "Get Closer" by XYLØ is delicious! Shades are just starting to make their mark in the dance world, and after hearing this fire future pop feels track I am predicting more awesome things in the future! XYLØ - AFTERLIFE (TIM GUNTER REMIX)

This week has been really hard personally - when life gives you lemons we are to make lemonade - but sometimes you can feel like you're drowning in it. So, this morning I am gonna try to get to some of my favorite tracks that have dropped over the past few days for all the rad feels, and this new Tim Gunter remix of "Afterlife" by XYLØ has topped the list. This Austin producer has added his flavor to the already amazing track and vocals by XYLØ frontwoman Paige, with awesome future beats over a dark sexy tone ... I love it! XYLØ - L.A. LOVE SONG (WIN & WOO REMIX)

Ohh it's always a happy Friday when our double dub homies Win & Woo release something new, and we're spun into a fury of excitement when it also involves one of our faves and Get Buzzzed alumni XYLØ! This is a match made in every kind of heaven. Win & Woo have been steadily crushing with release after release and "L.A. Love Song" is a perfect record to dive us into summer. Grab your piña colada and get poolside asap for this one. With jovial plucked melodies, tropical sounds and a little hip hop percussion, the boys have struck a nice balance of chill and hype resulting in a daytime heater. You can nab this on iTunes here. 

XYLØ - BANG BANG

Yay we've got a new one for you from our favorite brother and sister duo XYLØ! The release of "Bang Bang" also comes with announcements of their debut EP 'America' out February 26 on Sony's Disruptor Records. This EP showcases 6 songs from their incredibly quick rise to prominence, which we can definitely credit to their unbelievable songwriting. "Bang Bang" is distorted, driving pop track that starts and stops giving you a chance to catch your breath. The chorus is incredibly catchy and I can't wait to hear all the remixes that this one brings with it. I can just picture all the producers rubbing their hands together saying yep this is gonna be good. Also you can catch XYLØ at our #GetBuzzzed showcase in Austin March 16-19! THE BEST OF 2015!

One thing I have always said is that I am definitely not a music journalist!  Beautiful Buzzz was created as an outlet where I can tell my friends about all the great music I come across - and over the past few years we've grown into a fun place where people can find new tracks and listen to my stories! This Best Of 2015 list is personal; it's a combination of tracks I loved and great moments I had working with the artists over the past year - whether it was through the blog, at one of my Beautiful Buzzz shows, or just a night out on the town!!  Enjoy!!

Sometimes the best part of my job is to expose some truly talented young music makers to the world, or at least to the people following Beautiful Buzzz!  Our next premiere belongs a fresh producer out of Los Angeles who I happen to think is pretty great, and this remix of "Between The Devil And The Deep Blue Sea" by XYLØ is killer! Matt DiMona adds his feel good house vibes, with summertime sounds for days! This track is full of emotions swirled up into a melodic dance floor hit!  Matt DeMona is one to keep your eye on, I have a feeling we'll be seeing great thing from him this year, and he just might be your new favorite find or 2015!  Grab this remix as a free download HERE!
