[PREMIERE] HALSEY - NEW AMERICANA (YE. FLIP)

It's almost the weekend y'all, and I am so ready to do nothing actually! Yep ... gonna stay home and hang out with my doggo and find a TV series to binge on. It will also give me some time to catch up on listening to all the new music I've been putting aside during this hectic week.  One thing I can't sleep on, however, is this new flip from Syracuse, NY producer Ye. We are lucky enough to premiere his delicious remix of "New Americana" by Halsey, and I feel like it's going to set a rad tone for the rest of the day. Layered with dark synthey melodies and future bass beats, this 19 year old producer creates a bouncy trap hybrid between vibing out and raging!  Ye. is just getting started, and I can't wait to see whats to come. 

BLU J - IN 2 U

I kinda feel like BLU J are my besties even tho we've never done the hangs. Pretty sure we have covered every release on BB, and lately their name keeps coming up among industry peers and I always smile and think, yea I've supported them for a minute. BLU J are back this week with their delightful flip of Ariana Grande's "Into You" for some super sexy grooves that are perfect for chill evening vibes. GRAMATIK - NATIVE SON PREQUEL FEAT. LEO NAPIER (MYRNE REMIX)

Holy cow Myrne has absolutely murdered this remix of Gramatik's "Native Son Prequel." This track has just about everything you could ask for packed together and presented with a bow. A super funky piano riff starting it off, zany eclectic sounds, an impressive albeit hyperactive rhythm section, plenty of vocal chops and of course a crazy synth solo at the end. If you're in to electro funk like me then this track is simply mind blowing. The singapore bred producer has already put out some ridiculous tracks: peep his collab with SteLouse "Call Me" and his killer remix of Hoodboi's single "Closer ft. SLUMBERJACK - OPEN FIRE FT. DANIEL JOHNS (ENSCHWAY REMIX)

Sydney's Enschway has delivered a hype remix of sub contortionists Slumberjack. Slumberjack's original "Open Fire" was already a hell of a tune check out our review here, but Enschway has taken this hit record and amped it up even further packing in all sorts vocal sounds, bright synths, fun samples, horn sounds and crazy arps. The second drop just goes ham with this deep distorted lightning synth that blows the top off this remix. If you're ready for a banger we've got just the tune right here. KSHMR & FELIX SNOW FT. MADI - TOUCH (HTPKT REMIX)

HtPkt's new remix of KSHMR & Felix Snow's "Touch" featuring Madi takes the hard hitting banger and reimagines the track in a more future bass orientation, all while maintaining the beauty and integrity of Madi's vocals. HtPkt, from Miami but currently based in NYC, is a steadily rising talent everyone can get in on early right now. He's currently at less than 1,000 followers on Soundcloud but don't expect that to stay that way for long; we see his stock rising quickly over the next year.

BIG GIGANTIC - THE LITTLE THINGS (KASBO REMIX)

Just in time for his upcoming show with Big Gigantic, Marshmello and Illenium at Red Rocks, Sweden's Carl Garsbo aka Kasbo has dropped a riveting remix of Big Gigantic's "The Little Things". The remix mellows out the track, setting a moodier backdrop for Angela McCluskey's vocals. This is just the kind of wavy, emotion driving track one could image playing as the sun sets behind the beautiful Rocky Mountain backdrop at Red Rocks this weekend. SIGUR RÓS - HEYSÁTAN (AMTRAC DUB)

Amtrac provides some of the most chilled out and satisfying dance music on the planet. Additionally I've loved Sigur Rós for years, so when I saw these two names together on one song I knew it was going to be perfect. For those of you unfamiliar with Sigur Rós let me give you a little backstory. Hailing from Reykjavík, Iceland Sigur Rós first came onto my radar with their song "Starálfur," that has such a heavenly beautiful aspect to it. With an entrancing piano melody and strings leading the way, the song easily floats you away to another atmosphere. Their most successful LP 'Takk' features this song "Heysátan" along with "Hoppípolla" probably their most successful single that was featured in many movies, TV shows and ads. If you get a chance listen to the entire 'Takk' LP its well worth it. Amtrac has taken "Heysátan" to new heights making such a moving atmospheric tune dance floor ready. Amtrac has really made this track his own in such a flavorful way, using the pads strings and occasional bells to accentuate the main chords. He utilizes the vocals for ambient background splashes resulting in a hearty, bone chilling deep house cut. You can nab this as a free download here.

WANTIGGA - STONECOLD FT. SACHA VEE (PAT LOK REMIX)

Our homie Pat Lok never disappoints - he manages to deliver nothing but super sweet disco fabulous tracks all the time to brighten up our days! His latest remix of "Stonecold ft. Sacha Vee" by Wantigga is a smooth sounding deep disco pop house groove that has got us feeling some kind of way! However, what I am most excited about is that Pat Lok has been added to our Le Youth show next weekend in San Francisco! He'll be throwing hot tracks along with Ghosts Of Venice and Futurewife for a fun filled night of total bootay shakin' dance moves! Psyched! AWOLNATION - RUN (ROBOKID REMIX)

Talk about one of my fave people ever, Robokid is pretty much my ride or die these days. From making me swoon for being so dreamy, to super rad hangs at SXSW, to him coming to San Francisco this summer to play a BB show, you can say we're fam. He puts out the sickest tracks, and this new official remix of "Run" by AWOLNATION crushes everything. It's dark and almost sinister techno vibe mixed in with big bass beats and all the future feels we've come to love from Robokid are wrapped into a perfect package ... psyched! Get into this one kids!
