[PREMIERE] RKCB - ENOUGH (HTPKT REMIX)

East Coast maestro HtPkt ratchets up the emotional punch of LA duo RKCB's "Enough", taking the track to another level entirely. Coming off the release of his debut single "Running (ft. Celestial)" HtPkt keeps the energy alive with his first release of 2017. His iteration of "Enough" jumps off with the soothing, melodic vocals of the original track, slowly building the tension until the final cathartic crescendo releases you into the full intensity of the drop. ELEPHANTE - PLANS (FT. BRANDYN BURNETTE) [INSTANT KARMA REMIX]

Instant Karma has been making waves since their first release just a year ago. I really loved their "Flor - Unsaid" remix a while back and was excited when they sent me their latest an upbeat tropical infused rework of "Plans" from two BB regulars: Elephante and the workhorse Brandyn Burnette. The original was a joy to listen to check out our review here, but lets talk about what the bright good vibes duo has done for their remix. Using marimba-esque stabs they have built a lush tropical soundscape full of wandering airy arps supporting Brandyn's vocals. We're quickly lead to a bobbing halftime chorus chock full of fun melodies and vox chops. The record grooves along with such upbeat sweetness that it ends a quick 4 min later and I'm clamoring to hit play again. JOCELYN ALICE - FEELS RIGHT (GALLOWAY REMIX)

Not sure about the rest of you - but your girl is freezing! It seems we are all suffering this winter! It's hella cold everywhere! My SoCal blood is turning to ice in San Francisco, so I've been trying to find the most fire tracks this week to guarantee some steamy dance floor vibes, and this one is topping the list. Part of that delicious Disruptor Records crew, Canadian songstress Jocelyn Alice is crushing with this fabulous dance pop track "Feels Right" - and this is a huge remix from Galloway. I instantly wish it was not 7am so I could blast this at top volume and have my own little dance party, open up my balcony doors and let the music spill out into downtown San Francisco and bounce off the buildings from my 16th floor apartment. So fun! Get into this one kids! 

[PREMIERE] ARYAY - NEVER GONNA LEAVE (DNMO REMIX)

Recently I've become familiar with this fresh British producer DNMO - he hit me up one day to show me some of his tunes and I quickly became a fan. This youngster is pretty great, and when I say youngster I'm not kidding ... the kid is 15, or I think he just turned 16.  Either way I am officially old enough to be his mother. They don't call me Rave Nanny for nothin! Teenager or not, DNMO has some pretty great feels and I think he's going to be showing us some big moves in 2017. This next premiere is a fantastic remix of "Never Gonna Leave" by Aryay, and it's a great example of his big future sound. Get into this one!! You can grab a free download HERE!

GALLANT - TALKING TO MYSELF (BIG WILD REMIX)

Wow I didn't know it until today, but all I want for Christmas is a Big Wild remix of Gallant. That most perfect present has been gift wrapped and delivered under all of our trees today! I mean c'mon with these two names on the same track you know it's going to be special. We posted Manila Killa's mind blowing remix of the Big Wild original "Invincible" recently, but I definitely want to steer you over to the AMAZING music video for the tune as well. Now to this remix, the tune starts with evolving piano chords and a clock "tick tock". Gallant's first verse fades into a buildup that evolves into a glistening chorus with a sweet guitar/bass tone and flashing arps cascading in the background. This is a super fun remix and is putting a big smile on my face. You can stream this on Spotify here. 

ILLENIUM - IT'S ALL ON U FT. LIAM O'DONNELL (K?D REMIX)

As if we would pass on posting a K?d remix - I mean he's pretty much all we talk about these days. This one tho, omg ..... a remix of "It's All On U ft. Liam O'Donnell" by our boy Illenium!! Crushing! It's packed with the most delicious soulful vocals and huge future beats any girl could want. If K?d wanted to close out 2016 with a bang, he's achieved it! GREEN DAY - BOULEVARD OF BROKEN DREAMS (THOREAU REMIX)

He's backkk! Thoreau has been throwin down some jams lately hitting hype machine #1 on two out of his three releases so far, and we're loving his new bootleg of Green Day's epic "Boulevard Of Broken Dreams." The tune is a journey to listen through, the first drop sweeps into a future bass  chorus with spikey layers of synths wobbling around. The track takes a turn after that and slows way down before diving into a halftime warped vocal bridge full of juicy characteristically Thoreau guitar. Harry is diving into remixing his favorite 2000's records in his "Thoreau-Backs" series : “The reason these tracks are so pivotal to me is because this is the exact music I grew up listening to. I got into music and began playing electric guitar at a very young age to try and emulate these rock stars that I looked up to. They represent the teenage angst we all felt, the heartbreaks we will never forget, and the passion we can’t always find in music these days.” Lots to love in this classic rework you can nab this as a free download here.

SAN HOLO - LIGHT (WRLD REMIX)

This one is giving me all the warm feelies right now, I am so in love with this! Emerging producer WRLD hit our radar this year, and pretty sure he'll be making our "Best Of" list for 2016 ... guess you'll have to wait and see! We love WRLD! His light future pop sound brings us a ton of joy - he's all about the happy vibes. WRLD crushed this remix of "Light" by San Holo - I'm swooning! You can grab a free download HERE!

BIG WILD - INVINCIBLE (FT. IDA KAWK)(MANILA KILLA REMIX)

So many of us are looking forward to 2016 being over! However, when this one popped up in my inbox titled "final Manila Killa track of the year" I did feel a little sad. Manilla Killa had a great year, and this yung Moving Castle legend staked his claim in the ever growing future sounds scene, as well as forever in our hearts! I really hope you all have enjoyed listening to me gush over Manila Killa for the past year, and I am psyched he is closing out 2016 with this brilliant remix of "Invincible ft. ida kawk" by Big Wild because it's yummy. Get into this one kids!
