[PREMIERE] JANELLE KROLL - FVR (GUNN REMIX)

I've got a fun one for you right here. If you haven't heard of this up-and-coming singer Janelle Kroll then we're excited to give you the drop on this one. Her debut 'Outsider EP' had considerable blog support and kicked this train into action. "FVR" is one of my favorites from the EP so I was definitely intrigued when her camp sent over this Gunn remix. The track starts perky with light synthwork that evolves into a bumping bass line. The first verse rolls through with Janelle's vocals coaxing us into a explosion of synthwork that flows up and down in the chorus. "While the original is fairly laid back, I felt that Janelle's vocals had an anthemic quality to them which could be brought out with expansive, punchy production. I used layered instrumentation in the build to create an epic feel that gradually builds tension, leading to a driving, explosive payoff underpinned by a simple yet effective riff that maintains its energy all the way to the end of the track." -Gunn I definitely didn't expect to hear where this tracks goes and I'll think you'll be surprised too.

MAHALO FT. CAT LEWIS - BE MY LOVE (FAMBA REMIX)

Mahalo's had a great 2016 rising up through the ranks with his new breed of what he calls liquid house. We supported the original release of "Be My Love ft. Cat Lewis" out on one of my favorite imprints No Definition - a sub label Enormous Tunes. I thought Famba did a terrific job with his re-work and is already climbing up the Beatport future chart. Cat's vocals are soo infectious so you can easily dive into this one. You can listen on Spotify too here.

XYLØ - DEAD END LOVE (VASTA & N2N REMIX)

Time to get a little deeper with this combo of BB regulars XYLØ, Vasta and N2N. "Dead End Love" is definitely a favorite of the XYLØ releases (hell I pretty much like them all), but Vasta and N2N have a concocted a deeper version of the tune that's much more sweaty warehouse friendly. Honestly the first time I heard the tune I thought the way the vocals warped around in the chorus was a little jarring, but on second listen it started to gel and then became totally groovy. This is perfect for that afterhours joint and definitely keeps things kickin'. You can nab this as a free download here.

[NEW SHOW] THE LOVE BOAT (SAN FRANCISCO) + CLEAN BANDIT - ROCKABYE (AUTOGRAF REMIX)

Who doesn't love a boat party? Valentine's weekend we're gonna set sail with the Crossroads crew in San Francisco for their next epic adventure -- The Love Boat! Line-up is discolicious w/ Autograf (DJ) + Bag Raiders (DJ) + Le Youth. These boat parties always sell out in advance, so I would highly suggest getting your ticket ASAP - they are about 75% sold now so don't sleep on this!  Also - Autograf just dropped this bad ass remix of "Rockabye" by Clean Bandit - see what you have to look forward to on the boat! What up Bay Area!  

PAPA YA - SUNNY (EVAN GARTNER REMIX)

Papa Ya's tune "Sunny" is just soo good I think any remixer that simply uses the infectious vocals is sure to have gold. Regardless Evan Gartner has taken the original and really put an awesome spin to it. He's smoothed out the pool party original into a loungier direction, featuring a precise vox chop, and bouncy piano that adds a glisten to the record it didn't quite have before. The track flows with ease and is sweet as honey, oh oh! "drink till you're sunny!" You can download this for free here, or add it to your fave Spotify playlist here. 

ELOHIM - HALLUCINATING (CHRISTOFI REMIX)

Elohim seems to be the hot ticket right now. If you haven't heard her new tune with our homies Louis the Child "Love is Alive" you gotta get on dat. She's got this other ya knoww freaking charming original "Hallucinating" that's been on repeat in my headphones recently, and I was super stoked when Christofi sent over his version. If you're not too familiar with Christofi yet, you should start to get acquainted. He's steadily building a great catalogue of tunes that are legitimately unique from track to track. His recent "Temptation (feat. Ayer)" was a total feel good jam in much the same way as his version of "Hallucinating." I didn't think it was possible to make Elohim's original more upbeat and fun, but Christofi has found that lightning in a bottle. Pretty much all of Christofi's catalogue is great so I recommend checking all his tunes out on Spotify here. You can also download this remix for free here.

USHER - NO LIMIT FT. YOUNG THUG (MOZADO REMIX)

Boston based Mozado just released his first track of 2017, dropping a chilled-out, albeit bassy iteration of Usher's "No Limit". Mozado adeptly weaves together Usher & Young Thug's candor with rhythmic Asian & Classical elements. It's been such a blast watching KRANE come up over the past few years. This Bay Area producer caught our attention on the local level, and now he's making big moves nationally, carving out his much deserved spot in that coveted group of young creative electronic music makers who are changing the game! I'm stoked for this next premiere from KRANE -  packed full of that deep grimy bass vibe we love he crushed this remix of "Party Monster" by The Weeknd. [PREMIERE] COURTSHIP. - LOVE FOR EVERYONE (EMBRZ REMIX)

Irish electro-pop producer and songwriting rising star EMBRZ is kicking off our Monday morning with his new remix of "Love For Everyone" by courtship. I'm definitely needing a musical pick-me-up, your girl is dealing with the Monday blues and EMBRZ's fun loving pop vibes are giving me that extra pep in my step. We've seen this yung legend make some big moves this past year, and once again he's created a funky dance track that combines delicious pop sounds with downtempo music. He said, "The original is such a tune, so I was excited to try put my own spin on it. I tried to give it a retro 80s kinda feeling. Really happy with how it turned out it!"
