So this is gonna make blog number 3 for me today, and yet there's still so much more music I could get to - it's like we're gearing up for festival season or something... Regardless, I really loved Sivik's original "All Day All Night" and was pretty pumped when he sent over this John Lock remix. Electronic music in general has gotten so chill lately and I am in no way complaining. This remix is full of laid back bliss, and chill housey tones it should put you at ease. Dig in to this during an breezey afternoon picnic and get lost in the clouds. You can grab this as a free download here.

THE WHITE PANDA X VÉRITÉ - SOMEBODY ELSE (THE 1975 COVER)
Music, Remix, CoverCommentIt's been a minute since I've tuned back into The White Panda, but I was sent over this cover of The 1975 they did with VÉRITÉ that's dopee! VÉRITÉ's vocals just flow over you like a warm summer breeze on top of swelling pads and light drumming. The horn hits burst in at the vocal chorus smashing the bass line with a percussive rhythm that persists into the vox chop filled chorus hyping the track up before dropping you back down for verse 2. While we're on the subject of White Panda I'm gonna also steer you over to their remix of Jahkoy's "California Heaven." I posted the original a while back and their remix was freaking awesome. You can download their "Somebody Else" cover for free here.
STEVE AOKI & LOUIS TOMLINSON - JUST HOLD ON (ATTOM REMIX)
Music, RemixCommentIowa City's Kyle Stern better known creatively as Attom has been crushing it the last couple years with awesome tunes like originals "Cruise" and the amazing "Afterglow" that shot up the hypem charts. Today he sent over his remix of Steve Aoki's smash hit "Just Hold On" and I thought it was the perfect ethereal soundscape to bring us out of winter and ease us into spring. He layers on elements of tropical xylophones, chimes and warm pads all equating to a musical deep breath of fresh air. I'm sure there's much more for us coming soon from this camp until then we can enjoy this fresh take on the original. You can also get this on your favorite digital musical retailer here.
ZHU x MIGOS - BAD AND BOUJEE.
Music, RemixCommentI mean .... we already know ZHU crushed all our lives a few years ago. Now he's like ... oh, let me crush you again by remixing"Bad and Boujee" by Migos - dropping this siiiick ass track like it don't mean a thing! BOOM! This one is dripping with that light electro sass we love from ZHU with all the hip-hop dance flavor from Migos - together it's perfection! Go on, legends!
BREATHE CAROLINA X IZII - ECHO (LET GO) (SEAN TURK REMIX)
RemixCommentIt’s been exciting to watch Sean Turk start to make a name for himself over the past 10 months. He has an undeniably smooth and vibey production style which straddles indie, pop, and dance while also bringing a little something fresh to every new release. He calls it “Bedroom Bass” which sort of describes it, but it’s more universal than that.
This latest remix is his first official release for Spinnin’ Records. He’s taken Breathe Carolina and IZII’s “ECHO (LET GO)” which is a great emotional pop/electronic ballad and given it a darkly-tinted future bass makeover. Lush silky synths, pretty piano flourishes, thick wavey chords, and an assortment of powerful yet intricate beats adorn this masterpiece of a rework. Definitely excited to see an original from him, hopefully soon!
[PREMIERE] STALGIA - BDY (JOE MASON REMIX)
Music, PREMIERE, RemixCommentOh man Joe Mason has just been wrecking the remix game lately, and he's struck mega flames again with this moving remix of up-and-comers Stalgia. I'm such a fan of this remix, it has depth and dynamic, warming walls of synth wobbles, fantastic sound design and damn I get to premiere this?? So pumped. Y'all please please get on this Joe Mason train, this remix has totally re-invigorated the original in a way that makes this track huge. This one is gonna get played out...a...lot. Oh and whatttt??? He's giving it away as a free remix too? Damn son swipe that up here.
BILLIE EILISH - SIX FEET UNDER (BLU J REMIX)
Music, RemixCommentWe've said it before and we'll say it again ... these guys are gonna be massive! We love all the future feels Bay Area/Canadian duo BLU J bring to the dance floor, each track they drop I fall a little deeper under their spell! I tend to find these up-and-coming artists that I just love, and then a year later they have some douchebag agent that gives their show to Goldenvoice because they need to get on Coachella - whatever! Anyway - this new remix of "Six Feet Under" by Billie Eilish is delicious - get on it!
BRYCE FOX - HORNS (STéLOUSE REMIX)
Music, RemixCommentI'm kind of in a mood this morning - I'm just wanting to love on everyone with hugs and cuddles, so I'm gonna talk about this special dude. Some people come into your life and continuously blow your mind, and STéLOUSE is one of those guys. The music this guy is making is next level - beyond top quality .... every one should be in awe of his greatness. And for some reason, this brilliant musician loves me. I'm not really sure he actually knows how much he impresses, intimidates, and inspires me in so many ways ... and I feel like I don't tell him enough. What's also amazing is that he sees something great in me too. I'm a lucky girl. So let's talk about the music ... this remix of "Horns" by Bryce Fox is BANANAS. STéLOUSE you are everything good in my world, now please continue to drop that ish ......
KILL PARIS - JUNKIE FT. NEVVE & MONSTRE (DNMO REMIX)
Music, RemixCommentOne of my favorite young producers right now is this kid DNMO from the UK. For being a mere 15 years young, he's already proving he has what it takes to sit at the adult table. His new remix of "Junkie ft. Nevve & Monstre" by Kill Paris has so many yummy future pop feels that hit's hard in all the right places. Perfect for throwing some trap arms! DNMO is going to have a ton of mew music coming out in the weeks to come, and we'll be here to watch his rise to greatness! You guys can grab a free download HERE!
