I am feeling quite chipper today - and not because I have some awesome BBQ plans for the 4th Of July holiday. It's more like a overall positive feeling about life, and how I finally feel like all my years of hard backbreaking work are finally paying off! That's why I picked this track to put up on BB today - because everyone has to start somewhere, and Severo is just getting to it. This Swedish producer is only 15 ... holy mac! I mean when I was 15 all I cared about were boys and well ... boys! Severo is someone I can see evolving into greatness - his remix of "Smoke Filled Room" buy Mako shows maturity and depth ... I get all kinds of feels with this one! Severo also means Severe in Spanish - fun fact of the day! I feel like we don't have enough Scottish producers in our lives ... I mean for real, they definitely bring more fun to the party, and even tho they speak English you never understand them and just nod in agreement. The week I spent in Scotland was where I actually had thebiggest language barrier through all my travels ... and I lived in Prague y'all! Haha! But for real, I want more Watgood in my life! We first spotted this bae last year when he put his spin on "Faded" by ZHU - and after a number of releases via Buygore, etc. we have developed a fangirl crush on Watgood .... but he's been rather quiet lately. Not any more - this week we see him releasing 2 new tracks, one being "Pelican" via Good Enuff that I am loving! YUNG BAE - DON'T SAY YES

Yung Bae / Dallas Cotton - whatever name you want to release music under, we don't care ... just as long as it keeps coming.  Last time I was with this young Portland producer was in San Francisco at the worst Super Bowl pre-party ever. So many of our friends on the bill that night, and it was so poorly promoted - it was like no one ever talked about this event until the doors opened .... for real I think 4 people showed up. I guess that happens ... I just kept thinking how happy I was that it was not my party! I digress -  Yung Bae has handed us another funky disco synth infused dance track "Don't Say Yes" that is delicious - full of deep grooves and bug bass beats. Alexander Lewis provided the synths as well ... all the feels! I'm all about it! 

DILLON FRANCIS & WHAT SO NOT - ARROWS (BEN MAXWELL REMIX)

Time for me to show a little bay area love with the next one - and holy cow it's delicious! Ben Maxwell is a yung future bass producer living in San Francisco whom I've just fallen for. Hey industry homies - this kid might just be your next diamond in the rough so open them ear holes and check out his latest remix of "Arrows" by Dillon Francis & What So Not.  It has all the bouncy grooves and glitchy beats we so desire - he's a legend in the making! Vibes vibes vibes! Los Angeles duo NIGHTOWLS just dropped this saucy banger for all the Friday fun, and I'm feeling this one! I only recently became friends with these legends, but our short lived acquaintance has blossomed into so much love - I just want to smooch their faces all the time! NIGHTOWLS layer on smooth future dance vibes with huge bass beats in this remix of "La La Land ft. Delaney Jane" by DVBBS & Shaun Frank. Goshfather has released a new original this week that has all the happy and bouncy feels ever - it actually reminds me of Goshfather himself. When I think about this Los Angeles producer and our time together - it's of him standing on a table at the club, fists in the air and handing me a bottle of tequila to pull from, or putting me in the homie head lock while behind the decks with our friends, or twerking against our friends and the wall of the hotel we're at for the after party (I have video) ... all of these things are why I call Goshfather legend, and this track "Who Am I ft. LOUIS THE CHILD - WEEKEND

If you caught Louis The Child's set at Coachella this year - you got to hear this track with the Icona Pop girls live - they were a surprise performance with the yung Chicago producers and it was fire! Today they drop "Weekend" featuring the lovely Icona ladies, and this one was also co-written by our homie and most favorite muffin Lil Aaron. It's hard to believe that just a year ago I was booking Louis The Child for a small LA pool party where I had to convince the promoter it was the right move, and now they are selling out 2000+ venues. Bananas! I will always have huge love for these boys - once again they crush!  

[PREMIERE] MALCOLM ANTHONY - HOOKED (PROD. GARRETT LODGE)

When Malcolm Anthony walked into my production office at SXSW earlier this year - I instantly knew we would be homies. This Los Angeles rapper has more kind vibes then most, and I'm psyched to premiere his next original track "Hooked" produced by Garrett Lodge. Malcolm has a smooth laid back style and this new tune is full of sexy grooves soaked in summertime feels.
