SWEATER BEATS - BETTER FT. NICOLE MILLAR & IMAD ROYAL

One of our BB faves Sweater Beats just dropped his first original track in almost 2 years, and oh what a good one at that! Teaming up with Sydney's Nicole Millar, and growing industry aficionado Imad Royal, the three have constructed an electronic pop crossover that delights and enthralls. The hip hop percussion locks the beat down as strums of guitar, pulsing bass and flaring synths bob and weave our way through an incredibly infectious chorus proclaiming "I'll make you better." This tune is endearing, fun and hard hitting - pretty much everything you want in a record! KRNE x ALEXANDER LEWIS - FALL APART

Everyone get ready to throw your trap arms! Honestly this is just what I needed to end my day at the office before I head into that heavy traffic home. We've been big time supporters of both these young emerging artists, and they are back together again for another trap banger collab with "Fall Apart." With KRNE's distinctive low end sound and Alexander Lewis's live trombone work, this pretty much tops all our bass dreams. Grab that free download HERE!

DOOQU & ASHDOWN - DUST

Monday is a perfect day to blog this amazingly unique and creative record from Dooqu & Ashdown. This is the second collaboration from this twosome - check out our coverage of their first collab "Incompetent Competitions." They obviously found something that worked with the first record, and have followed it up nicely with this one "Dust." I really like this tune because it not only showcases each's prowess at songwriting, but also the teamwork that is built up through the vocals and production. The longing piano and pads combine with a quirky rising arp behind the first verse building us into an eclectic but nonetheless effective chorus. The synth shuffles down with intricate precision as the keenly placed vocals evolve into a terrific vocal chop. The chorus wobbles ahead as a repetitive bell sounds in the background flushing us back down into the second verse. Not exactly your weekend banger, but "Dust" is still sending chills down my spine. YOTTO - COOPER'S CUP + TWIN PEAKS SERIES

Yotto is one of the newer artists to blossom on the Anjunadeep imprint signing his first Memento/Azzurro EP back in 2015, but that nonetheless shouldn't diminish his importance. In a little over a year on the label, the Finnish producer has put out genre bending explorations of singles and remixes from the likes of Rüfüs' "Like An Animal" to one of our faves Lane 8 to his intricately constructed originals like the recently successful "The Owls" which earned Essential New Tune honors from Pete Tong and Annie Mac's Hottest Record in the World. 

Thus brings me to "Cooper's Cup." I really enjoyed "The Owls," but missed our 7 day time period with which we like to post new records. I saw that "The Owls" was coming as a 3 part series entitled 'Twin Peaks' and I wanted to feature today the second installment. "Cooper's Cup" is a flourishing cascade of sound that builds from a rumbling bass line into a plucky xylophone like melody that is as fulfilling as it is entrancing. The record pushes forward with bursting 80's style basses that remind me of the soundtrack for Netflix's new series "Stranger Things." Yotto is here to stay and is someone you should definitely familiarize yourself with. JESPER JENSET - HIGH (YOUNG BOMBS REMIX)

My loves Young Bombs just dropped another crazy good remix for us today - can this Canadian duo do any wrong? Over this past year we have seen then crush all things, including a fantastic live set in SF where I was too hungover to rage but still gave it the old college try. Sometimes you just click with people and these two are the bee's knees - we can always count on them to bring the good vibes! This remix of "High" by Jesper Jenset is total fire, and I have a feeling when they drop this one live the dance floor explodes! Official release date is 9/2 but you can listen on repeat here! 

AMTRAC - RENTON

No one does it quite like Amtrac - he consistently hits the deep house power button to get us moving on the dance floor. This southern born and now LA living producer has released a new EP via w&0 Street Tracks (Waze & Odyssey's Label) which includes this fresh B-Side "Renton." It's all that super sexy deep groove vibes that we love from Amtrac! Honestly - there has been so many amazing tracks out this week, I've been really struggling over which ones to put up on BB - so I decided to go with tracks that were pure sexy time vibes. Everyone likes the sexy time - and Jeyceeoh just nailed it with his new remix of "Higher" by Keiynan. KEHLANI - GANGSTA (VINCENT FLIP)

I think I might have a thing for Canadian guys with glasses - because I happen to think Vincent is the cutest thing ever, like .... cuter than puppies. Better not let Robokid read this because he's my ride-or-die with the cuteness usually - he'll get jelly. Maybe it's the Canadian thing - I have the best homies up north who I love to the moon and back so I have to assume Vincent is probably a super cool person too. Whatever it is ... I'm swooning. Once you mix in the music he makes, OMG I'm such a girl! This week Vincent put out this clutch flip of "Gangsta" by Kehlani that is packed full of all the future bass vibes - it's got me feeling some type of way! You can swoop a free download HERE! KWEKU SAUNDERSON - DO US

I have something very new today, and this one is going to give you all the feels! New York producer Kweku Saunderson has released a fantastic track "Do Us" that is mixing Techno, House and Hip-Hop R&B vibes together for a perfect balance of yum! All the ingredients are accurately measured out to create a super tasty dance track with some serious groove. Kweku wrote this song to win back his girlfriend - and I'm thinking it probably worked!
