[PREMIERE] MARTIN GARRIX FT. BEBE REXHA - IN THE NAME OF LOVE (JUSTIN CARUSO REMIX)

I've you been paying any attention lately then you've definitely heard Martin Garrix's chart topping original, but today we're excited to bring you a fantastic re-envisioning courtesy of SoCal's Justin Caruso. Balancing a full college course load, producing tracks and finishing up a tour with 3lau, Justin has still managed to epicly flip Martin's ballad in a whole new direction. He's picked up the pace for the mix and fills it out with a bobbing dance chorus led by a spikey grooving bass line surrounded by airy arps, vocal warps, and energetic hi hats. Adding to his growing catalogue of remixes, this new Jack Ü inspired sound from Justin tones it back, yet still maintains the level of hype that we've come to expect from this camp. Last weekend the Bay Area underground arts and music community suffered a tremendous loss with the Ghost Ship Warehouse Fire.  We lost many beautiful and talented artists and friends in this fire, and hundreds more friends and family members are now suffering this loss, along with millions across the world. We have partnered with Mezzanine and many other promoters and music community friends in the Bay Area for a Benefit show with MOBY. WHETHAN - SAVAGE (FEAT. FLUX PAVILION & MAX)

Holy mother of collabs, we knew this Whethan thing was a growing trend, but shitt now it's a full on tsunami of buzz with this huge new track featuring the one and only Flux Pavilion! Ethan aka Whethan has been building support for his tunes, starting to tour (he crushed it on tour with Bearson last summer) and is now putting out some banger tracks. The "Savage" vocals come courtesy of NYC's actor/singer MAX who's put his pop friendly vocals to this grimey tune full of spikey rhythmic bass, breakdowns of guitar, and a piercing snare. [PREMIERE] LEO ISLO - EUPHORIA (BIRDEE REMIX)

I am 100% chair dancing at the office right now ..... listening to our next premiere and kind of loving everything about it. Leo Islo released his killer Golden Grave EP earlier this year, and now our favorite LA underground electronic label PUZL is dropping some remixes that are so delicious you won't be able to resist shakin' that booty! We are lucky enough to be featuring this rad electro disco Birdee remix of "Euphoria" that grooves on level 10! PORTER ROBINSON & MADEON - SHELTER (MAT ZO REMIX)

I had the pleasure of seeing Madeon and Porter Robinson perform together last week, and damnn it was a fun ride. Seeing those two (still young) legends go toe-to-toe playing all of their hits together was a total treat! We know these guys still have a long and prosperous career ahead of them, but it was good to reflect back on their meteoric rises along with the tsunami that is dance music. Mat Zo is also legendary in his own right. These three names are honestly ones that have continually inspired me in dance music, and the hits keep coming. Mat Zo crushed this remix of "Shelter" per usual, and it makes me super happy to bring it to your ears. Dive into this one folks. You can also stream this on youtube here. 

TWENTY ONE PILOTS - THE JUDGE (CROIX FLIP)

Sitting in my coastal bubble, when i think of Ohio i think of sports prowess and flyover country. Needless to say Cleveland based producer Croix has forced me to reevaluate this bias. Croix's remix of 21 Pilot's "The Judge" beefs up the hipster classic and makes it dance-floor-ready just in time for winter, adding to the steady flow of tracks to keep us warm while we wait for spring. MAKO - LET GO OF THE WHEEL + HOURGLASS LP

Ok this was was a must today. I had the ultimate pleasure of seeing Mako's first ever live show last night, and damn Alex and Logan absolutely crushed it! So a little backstory, the guys have undergone a transformation over the last year moving from their dance heavy roots into a full indie pop soiree that is ready to take on the world! Their new live show has strings, guitars, keys and drums with Alex's vocals leading the way. I've also had the pleasure of hearing their upcoming Hourglass LP due out next Friday December 9th, which is also amazing and is currently available for pre-order here. Let's tap into "Let Go Of The Wheel," this final single from the LP might just be the best of the album. The tune starts warm and relaxed with an uplifting arp and pads filling out the instrumental behind Alex's first verse. As the guitars slide in leading us into the pre-chorus, the track explodes into massively uplifting chorus, full of cascading melodies of vocal ooh's, and layers of sound full of sun soaked strings, pads and a punchy snare/clap. "Let Go Of The Wheel" is a beautiful exposé of their new sound, poised to keep us warm and in high spirits as we launch into the Christmas season.    

FRND - FRIEND (STEVE JAMES REMIX)

Steve James is bae! This year he has dazzled us with so many excellent jams - we kinda can't get enough. He played our SXSW show back in March, so he is 100% BB fam for life. Today he dropped his latest remix of "Friend" by FRND that we are totally vibing with.  He's put is edgy future feels sound all over this bad boy, mixing in synthy soulful vocals with glitchy beats ... all the goodness.  Get familiar, get into this one! LAKUNO - ECHO FT. BAHAR DOPRAN

Aussie Lakuno and UK based Bahar Dopran come out of nowhere with a track that stays light on its feet, but delivers a punchy drop that gives me chills. Every time I hear something fresh coming out of Australia, I question my life choices that led me to somehow not be in Australia as I write this.
